No need for affidavit, just a 10th class certificate is enough, they know that in India it is the proof of dob.
Write a cover letter along with it stating that u r sending 10th class certificate, mention this is used in india as a dob proof.
no affidavit required unless certificate is in some other language.

CIC accepts 10th certificate in lieu of birth certificate if it has your name, date of birth. and name of father or parents.
If your 10th certificate does not have father name, support it with a affidavit giving your parents name ,date of birth and place of birth

Friends,

Need urgent help!

I received a interview email from NDVO, containing text "If you applied more than 12 months ago you must bring current Police Certificate for you".

What's this mean? Is it means FSW Applied date or PCC applied date?

I need your help preferably from the applicants who attended the interview already.

Hi I was trying to PM you but it says your inbox is full.
My consultant says it's from the Fsw application date. It's good to keep the current pcc ready. i'm thinking to confirm again with a different source will let you know.

Guys

Can anybody tell me the maximum or average time taken for PPR to come...

Hello seniors,

I am in need of your valuable feedback....

Two days back I received an email from NDVO, asking me to send our passports for stamping. I see that my application status is showing as decision made.

Now I am in a tricky situation, I may have to travel to USA on work visa. But still the travel date is not confirmed. It can be at any time. If I send my passport to NDVO I will not be able to answer my current employer as I will not be able to travel.

Can I send an email to NDVO, explaining my situation and request for transfer of my file to USA, so that I can send my passport when I reach there.

Seniors please need your inputs on my situation.

Thank you very much in advance.

Visa Issued

Finally, I received stamped passports today ;) :)

After so many difficulties, my hard work paid off. I would like to share my experience on PPR as I can see lot of people have this concern. I am the primary applicant and my spouse works in NZ, when I received PPR email from WVO, it was mentioned that we all have to submit our passports to New Delhi office but my husband is in NZ. So I sent an email to NDVO and Warsaw explaining the situation and requested stamping from NZ for my husband. 2 days later I received a response from WVO, they denied the request. But after a week I received another email from NDVO with instructions on how to submit passport for my husband from Sydney office as there is no VO in NZ.

But important point is:

That I didn't take any chance and finally submitted my and my son's passports to NDVO even before their response on that email (with cover letter)

Now I am relieved and have maple leaf stamped in our passports.

I hope this info will help someone :D

Thanks to all the forumites for all the help so far......and going forward as well.

;D ;D ;D
