With the MERCY AND FAVOUR OF GOD ALMIGHTY, I received my passport and those of my dependants with visa and COPR.
The visa expires on or before 27th May 2016.
I am planning to land by 18th May 2016; hope it will not be a problem folks?

I ALSO WANT TO WISH ALL EXPECTING MEMBERS BEST OF LUCK AS THEY WAIT FOR THEIR RESPONSES FROM VOs and CIC.

Whats your port of entry? My visa expires on 05th May 2016. Planning to visit Calgary in March or April next year...

Same situation like yours, completed MR on 16-Jul-15 but no TLU till now.

I submitted PCC on 16-Jul-15 as well, I understand the Security checks initiated after that is taking time and can go upto 4 months, as informed by the VO. The next action will be taken only after that even though we completed MR already.

So perhaps same is happening with you too!

Please be patient, NDVO is really slow these days. Wait for a month and if nothing happens, then try GCMS

Can you share your timeline and stage where they asked you for Birth Certificate. Also at what stage you are currently..

Specifically they didn't ask for that. That was our decision to submit affidavit as a proof of birth. Apart from that we submitted 10th class certificate also, DOB is also mentioned there. We have doubt that wether they will accept 10th standard certificate as a DOB proof or not.
My wife submitted with application itself in December. I have submitted in April, when my details added in her file. Our Third line is updated & waiting for PPR/DM now.

Apologies to bother you. It's just that I have received the following email from NDVO. Nor did they ask me for any docs nor have i sent any. I am unable to understand the first sentence.

Request you to let me know, what should I expect next.

"We have received the requested information/documents and your application is ready for final review. At this point there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the review is complete, the next steps in the processing of this application will be determined and you will be informed accordingly"

Dear Brother,
I think by the term 'the requested documents' , the Visa Office might have meant about some verified documents received by them through third party agencies , such as work experience , adaptability(if any) etc. Which is ur visa office ? How u got this info ?through CSE ?and how many days they took for the reply?. You had any type of verification ?
Because , I am in a very panic condition ..see my timeline...I am planning to raise a CSE.

Finally got our passports back after stamping from ADVO. Now the preparation starts to fulfill our landing formalities in our dreamland. Thank you all for all the help and support for all these months. It has been a great journey and it will continue for many more years to come.

Hi msa22, thanks for the revert.. From what I understood, the "Medicals received" status is updated irrespective of the other documents status. Isnt that the case? May be some seniors can through light on that.. But anyways, did you follow up with the hospital.. ? For most cases I have seen TLU is updated 4-5 or max 10 days after the medicals, and its just an acknowledgement that Medicals were ok, the processing for security etc is anyways going on parallely..

Seniors any pointers here?

Finally, I received stamped passports today

After so many difficulties, my hard work paid off. I would like to share my experience on PPR as I can see lot of people have this concern. I am the primary applicant and my spouse works in NZ, when I received PPR email from WVO, it was mentioned that we all have to submit our passports to New Delhi office but my husband is in NZ. So I sent an email to NDVO and Warsaw explaining the situation and requested stamping from NZ for my husband. 2 days later I received a response from WVO, they denied the request. But after a week I received another email from NDVO with instructions on how to submit passport for my husband from Sydney office as there is no VO in NZ.

But important point is:

That I didn't take any chance and finally submitted my and my son's passports to NDVO even before their response on that email (with cover letter)

Now I am relieved and have maple leaf stamped in our passports.

My timelines r also similar bro. 13 August app, per- 3 dec, SL-21 feb and nothing after that. Wait has been frustrating and annoying. Don't know when they will pick our files. Our situation even can't be described in words, it's so pathetic.

JUST FELT THE NEED TO SHARE THIS INFO AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!


CCSIS IS THE AGENCY WHICH DOES CRIMINALITY AND OTHER CHECKS. IT'S A THREE LAYERED CHECKING, PRIMARILY TO CHECK ANY CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS PENDING AGAINST ANY APPLICANT. THIS APPLIES TO ONE WHO HAS TRAVELLED TO OTHER COUNTRIES. CIF FOLLOWS UP WITH CSIS ON REGULAR BASIS AND THEIR MINIMUM THAT IS 14 WORKING DAYS AND CAN RANGE TO THREE MONTHS AND IF SOMETHING GETS NOTICED, AND THEN IT GO ES FOR FURTHER VERIFICATION WHICH MIGHT DELAY PROCESS TO ONE YEAR. HOWEVER UNTIL REPORTS COMES FROM CSIS AND ARE CLEAN, YOUR APPLICATION WILL REMAIN UNDER PROGRESS. SOME APPLICANTS GOT THEIR MR EARLY SO THEY ARE GETTING PPR AFTER 4 MONTHS DELAY WHILE SOME ARE WAITING FOR MR FOR ABOUT 3 PLUS MONTHS .IT DEPENDS WHEN FILE IS PICKED UP FOR CRIMINAL CHECKING, IF IT IS PRE MEDICALS THEN MEDICALS GETS DELAYED FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS ,IF IT HAPPENS POST MEDICALS THEN PPR GETS DELAYED. ONE THING IS FOR SURE, IF AN APPLICANT HAS STAYED OUTSIDE ITS HOME COUNTRY, WITHOUT CLEAR CSIS REPORTS VISA CAN'T BE ISSUED. I HAVE NOTICED SOMEWHERE IN 2013 ONE OF THE APPLICANT WAS DENIED TRAVEL TO CANADA AFTER GETTING HIS PASSPORT STAMPED AS SOMETHING NEGATIVE APPEARED IN REPORTS AND HE WAS CALLED IN EMBASSY FOR INTERVIEW WHERE HIS VISA WAS CANCELLED WITH A LETTER STATING THE REASONS. SO IT'S WORTH THE WAIT TO GET CLEAR REPORT AND THEN GETTING NEXT STEP AHEAD IN THE PROCESS.

It will take may be around 10 days to get it stamped from NDVO. Cant u survive these many days?

It would be really tough for me to survive for 10 days.

But still I am thinking to try and see about my survival. Before I submit my passport, can any one tell me maximum how many days NDVO is taking now a days for stamping and submitting our passport to us? I am from hyderabad, thinking to submit my passport at vfs hyderabad.
