hi there
i was wondering how u all people know about the place where your file is being processed? since i m waiting for medical request after my processing started on 2 march 2015, could it be the reason that my file has been sent to a place where processing is so slow because i ve seen the posts where people are getting their MRs with in 10-15 days?
can anybody help me in telling that how would i get to know about my visa office because my case was filed through the agent and it's their email which was given for the correspondence and i me being only updated by them(agents) only.

Ask you agent which emailID he has been getting the emails from. All Visa offices have there own email addresses.
It will also be better to change the email to your own, so that you have better control and visibility to your application.

Also, the agent you have been taking help of, is he licensed by CIC. If not, I strongly suggest changing the details and putting your own postal address and emailID.. If found, CIC can be very severe on applications being done by immigration consultants who are not licensed.

Medical and PPR - Urgent

Hi All,

Need some advise from all seniors.

I need some advice for my brother's application to London Visa Office. We applied for my brother back in Sept. PER 17 Feb. Med Req: 15 Jul (today).

In his case his wife and a kid is in back home since last 8 months approx. We r thinking to do their medicals differently, i.e. my brother can do it from London and his wife and kid from other country (India). However we are scared what if embassy comes back and asks why his wife is living separately for so long time as we have not informed CIC that they both went backhome for visit.

Please give some advise.

Also for passport request, when it will come my brother will also be in backhome again. Can we send the passport from some other country to LVO?

Please give some advise re both these cases.

Thats perfectly alright. ppl on same application can get medicals done from different locations.
Speaking from experience.
Your brother and his family can get the passports stamped at NDVO after getting consent from LVO.

Yes, a bit. You can still send an email or raise ecas to ask your application status. The one good thing is that your visa start date will be your MR done date.

But one thing worries me, why NDVO is taking so much time for some applications whereas Oct applicants are already started getting pprs. My suggestion is to update your LinkedIn,Facebook with your current and ex-colleagues contacts.

Btw , what's your your NOC?

I sent them an email. Here is there reply " Please be advised that your application is currently awaiting review by an immigration officer. Please see current processing times on our website.
We will be in contact with further information once this review has taken place. "

I can update my social media apps, but what do u mean by "current and ex-colleagues contacts", are they goin to contact my friends ??
I'm NOC 2132 by the way.
