Thanks to Allah, i have finally received the Golden PPR email today. I am glad i received it on such a blessed day (27th Ramadan).

Best of luck to all those fellows who are waiting for response since PER. Stay strong guys, i know how it feels, I was in exactly same situation 1 month ago. Things move very quickly after MR. All of you would definitely hear from your VO at least before completion of 1 year of PER (hopefully earlier).

I got an email from Warsaw office asking for more documents, here are my questions based on what they ask:

Scan copy of passports:
In fine print the question say:
Please note that the passport should be valid for at least six months and contain at least two blank pages at the time of visa issuance.

My son's passport expires in Feb 2016 which is 6 months from now. Should I renew the passport?


Second question:
Original police certificate(s) from India for yourself to include your maiden name

what does it mean by "include your maiden name" I have been married for 14 years and use my husband last name. Do i need a PCC with my madien name of a PCC with my current last name but mention my maiden name??

They are asking for a PCC which also includes the complete name you had before marriage.
P.S. CIC have also changed the process to obtain PCC. It appears that you can get it from Comm of Police office as well.

I think it will be easier to convince them to include the maiden name.

I just checked and found very cheap flight in Yatra.com but it routed via USA and note given is that we need transit VISA for this flight.

My question is that if we will not go out from airport and will take connecting flight internally than why should we required transit VISA.

Yes, US transit visa is mandatory whether you leave the airport or not. I've clarified this from US Embassy.

In my application last update was on 30th Oct that was SLU then i added my baby in my application on 21st April with all the documents they asked and then i received a mail saying that background verification is going on.
My question was that me my wife have also not yet received the MR so the verification is for all three of us or only my baby..
PLEASE HELP ME OUT....
IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL OF ALL SENIORS and APPLICANTS..

But no MR so far
No news of employment verification also. Do they conduct employment verification for each and every applicant? How is it conducted ? By visiting company or calling there? So many people who filed at the same time are already in the end of their final process, should i need to worry or is it normal? :-X

Don't worry vivek, u r not the only one with same status.. there r a lot many who r facing the same problem. I m June 19th applicant and still waiting for MR.. have patience and all will be well.. Gud luck

Try different combination of names as sometimes they mess up the names. If u have middle name as well try putting middle and surname and other different combination. If still doesnt work try calling cic and they will put you through to technical desk

The cic number is 1-888-242‑2100

hi there, i am new to this forum......... little query regarding PCC for NEWzealand as we have to fill a consent form, which i already did and sent to canada immigration WAW office along with medicals, but in the past I have seen ppl in the forum were asked for the NZ PCC where as they dnt provide any direct PCC to candidates... just worried.

My timeline below

APP Filled: 02 DEC 14
PER: FEB 19
Medicals Submitted: 02 June
PPR : Waiting ..

I got your point, but still for any flights via US you need to have transit visa and on top of it need to recheck in again. My suggestion is not to take any via US flts.
