When does one fill the GOODS TO FOLLOW form ?

I am planning my trip for short period of time (2-3 months) and then will return back to India.

I will then again book a flight to Canada after completing my pending formalities here. The luggage that I will bring that time, will that be considered as GOODS TO FOLLOW ?

But If I travel back to India by getting my PR card and then again book my flight to Toronto after 3-4 months, why goods to follow form is to be filled ?

You have to fill the form only the first time you land.
But you need to declare what goods you will be carrying in the next trip.
This way, all your goods in second trip will become duty free.
You do not have to fill the form again second time.

This is the last thing I recieved which was on the 6th of May 2015

" Dear Applicant,

Please be advised that your application is currently awaiting review by an immigration officer. We will be in contact with further information once this review has taken place. The UCI you have outlined below is the correct one. Please communicate with the Centralised Intake Office directly if you are having issues engaging through ECAS, as we are unable to provide any technical assistance.

I'm worried because I can't access my ecas, so please advise.

Hi evryone.. had left this forum long back coz of smthing gng on in personally. Anyways, I m in a hurdle right now, need ur expertise help as usual, something at which this forum is very gud

I got MR on jan 20, 2015, n 24th of jan, i got married. I added my spouse in the process and sent the file again to Delhi appx on feb 20. Then I received a marriage quesnnaire in about april mid to fill up and attach all the reqd docs related to my wedding and relationship status etc. I updated evrything and attached the honeymoon pics and other docs etc and sent the file to Delhi, it got delivered on May 3, 2015. Since then, I haven't heard anything from their side. Plz suggest something. Is it normal or do i need to raise query? My NOC is 2243.

Hi Everyone,
I am too much worried about this please help me.
I am planning to visit Canada in September. I am the principal applicant and my husband as dependent. But recently, i found that i am 4 weeks pregnant. I am not sure if canada would allow me to enter the country.
Also, what if i visit Canada once and come back after 1 month along with my PR card and then take my baby after nine months to Canada. How will the child get its PR?

I am confused. Please help or guide me in the right direction.

Dear , unlike most suggestion here , i would advise you not to inform the Visa office with the pregnancy until delivery , this will cause a delay of your application
1. if you have done Medical , then you are in the safe side NOTHING will cause delay in your application , so you would have the choice of either giving birth in Canada , or give birth outside canada and apply for TRP (which is basically a Temporary Visa ) and write a cover letter stating that he is new born of a PR holder and you had chosen to give birth outside Canada for personal reasons , and it would be perfect if you are able to provide an address in Canada
2. If you haven't done Medicals, then you will have to wait until give birth as you will not be allowed to do X-rays while pregnant

Hi, They do background verification before sending MR request for family member added. I too got MR for my wife, 3 months after I update my marital status to NDVO.

Did you send cse and ask about whether they received your documents or not??

I just checked and found very cheap flight in Yatra.com but it routed via USA and note given is that we need transit VISA for this flight.

My question is that if we will not go out from airport and will take connecting flight internally than why should we required transit VISA.

I got an email from Warsaw office asking for more documents, here are my questions based on what they ask:

Scan copy of passports:
In fine print the question say:
Please note that the passport should be valid for at least six months and contain at least two blank pages at the time of visa issuance.

My son's passport expires in Feb 2016 which is 6 months from now. Should I renew the passport?


Second question:
Original police certificate(s) from India for yourself to include your maiden name

what does it mean by "include your maiden name" I have been married for 14 years and use my husband last name. Do i need a PCC with my madien name of a PCC with my current last name but mention my maiden name??
