Guys,

I have got my passport after stamping few months back. I had to travel middle east for an ongoing project. When I came back the Arab immigration guy put the exit stamp on my Immigrant Visa. Should I be worried ? I am planning to land next month. Please advise.

Hi friends, would like to know that landing in Canada in Oct-Nov would be a good idea considering the cold weather and first season over there to be experienced.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Under Canada’s immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with your application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case.

For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.

Unfortunately, there are no definite timelines.
However, you should not panic as long as you are not waiting for 3months + .

Also is ppr usually sent in together with mr and rprf?.
Depends and varies from one Visa Office to Another. However, it simplest order, you will get MR, then RPRF, then DM, then PPR.
Thanks

Thank you.. Also what are the chances of rejection after mr and rprf if medicals are clear?

Rejections are very unlikely once medicals are clear.
They ask for medicals only when they are more or less happy about your details.

friends,
My wife is applicant and i am co-applicant. I might be expecting a job soon, if that happens. we need not show POF right or the applicant should have the job offer??? please respond asap.

Rejection after medical are rare but not impossible. Even if there is no rejection, there might be long delay due to Background checks for security. There are some applicants on this forum who are waiting from 5-6 months even after clearing the Medicals. Therefore, it is better to wait AT LEAST until you get PPR. (I would prefer after visa stamping though)

Thanks for Prompt revert.

My VO office is NDVO transferred to CVO. It is said that they move very fast post medicals so I was just thinking before taking some call.
