Hello All,

Kindly help if any one has encountered this problem before of not receiving the instruction forms along with the mediclas mail from NDVO. What to do in such cases and what is the address where we need to forward the medical completion/RPRF paid receipt. Also please help if the address(where the documents need to be couriered) is mentioned in the instruction form.

Regards,

Hi guys,
I am trying to send the docents requested by my visa office by email but its not working because of the big file size although i have resized them to.make them smaller..

My question is if i have to send each document in original language and also translated copy or only the translated copy is enough?

Thanks for your help it is really urgent as the deadline for sending the email is very close..

1. Yes, all pages should be scanned and sent.
2. Yes, you can either email or post. I think there is a limitation to keep the attachment size below 4MBs, in case of email.
3. Net banking not too sure because it will be an international payment gateway. But certainly through Debit card as long as u have Verified by Visa / MasterCard secure code enabled.
4. Just the ones they have asked for. MR receipts are not required I believe.
5. Your medical center will directly upload the results online. You will not have to send anything. So I do not see any reason why you should wait for medicals to be over.

I hope it helps.

For 2. They ask Schedule A again for two reasons...
i. You have filled 10 years as in asked for in the application, but that doesn't cover all your adult life..so they want you to fill from 18 years onwards.
ii. There is error in filling the form / missed by oversight / etc. OR difference between declaration in your Schedule A & Spouse Schedule A. For example in Section A, Q6, "Have you, or if you are the Principal applicant, any of your family members listed for PR..." I had missed to fill for my spouse rejection details in my schedule A... as I thought I had already declared in my spouse Schedule A!

All the best!
Thanks. I am aprox 36 years old so would i be filling the details from the age of 18th birthday or last 10 years; i-e from 2005 onwards (for question 8 and 12) and some one said that question 8 and 12 should match.

Folks...kindly advise. My app is with the Singapore VO and they are being really slow. It has been a year since I applied and I do not even have a second line update. IN this scenario, do you think it would be wise to
1) withdraw the application and request a refund
2) apply via the Express Entry - at least, once you are selected, you will get a PR in 6 months unlike the 2014 program - endless wait
Guys...any advise on this ?

My few cents.
1) No gain in withdrawing FSW application except fees as it is not going to affect your express entry
2) if not already created, you should have EE profile created & compete in the pool

If you are lucky & competent to go through in both, whenever u get PER/MR , withdraw another.

Hi,

I had attended the CIIP recently and few of the things I would like to share:-
- It is highly recommended that you attend a CIIP session before leaving for Canada
- Although we get lot of info from google/wikipedia etc but they present it in a structured manner and which pertains to us. The way of navigating around job search sites and keywords to be used is explained well by them.
- Their way of sharing knowledge is pretty good and concise.
- The second day i.e MAP session is most important. They will guide you step wise for licensing/employment prospects related to your field of study/employment and also prepare a personalized MAP document and email it to you for further follow-up

All in all a very enriching experience.

Good Luck.

Cheers !

Hi,

Although this topic has been discussed many times earlier by many member, I still have few queries related to carrying of funds with us. I am clear on how to carry to carry the funds.

- As per indian custom rules you cannot carry more than USD 10000 per person. Is this applicable for immigrants too ?
- When we declare funds at indian immigration, are we supposed to to declare amount of travellers chq etc ?

Kindly share more info on this. Any link where this has been discussed ?

Thanks,

Cheers !

As an immigrant you can carry USD 2,50,000 per head (even children) in one financial year under Liberalised Remittance Scheme. You can read more about it online. Just Google LRS India.
