My friend,
This is a letter I received from my visa office when I encountered the same situation.
" Please note the following observations regarding your recent document submission:

- We received your covering letter concerning the non-examination of your child, however this letter alone is not enough to waive to requirement for him, you must complete and sign the attached form
- -
As for the results of the medical examinations for you and your other dependents, please note we have already received the results, these will be valid until May 27 2016."

I was in the same situation. I couldn't do medicals for my son who I had with my ex-partner. I proceeded with the medicals with my family and the medical officer sent our medical results to the visa office the next day. About a week later, I got the letter above from my visa office acknowledging the receipts of my medical results.
I would advise you go ahead with the medicals for your family members and after that send them a CSE explaining the reasons why you couldn't do the medical for your step child. Most likely, you will receive instruction from your visa office to (1) send the evidence of your separation and (2) you will be sent a form(R117) to sign that you will not be able to sponsor the child in the future.
RELAX ITS NOT A PROBLEM

Thanku sooo much buddy! This was a huge help!

Hello Guys

My details are as follows:
VO: NDVO
NOC: 2171
App Date: 31st July 2014
Current Status: SLU

I have sent my documents to NDVO regarding the update of my new born child 3+ weeks ago.
However, I have not heard anything back. I was expecting the CIC to respond by asking for the medical
of my new child and the remaining portion of my wife's medical (X ray waived last time)

Am I missing something?

Hello everyone,

I am a FSW 2014 applicant.

PER Sep-14
SLU Nov-14

I received telephonic employment verification last month. The receptionist at my office took the call. The HR was absent so one of my colleague talked with them for a while and then transferred the call to me. They asked the details regarding my job to me and then they informed me that if they need any more information then they will contact again.

Can anyone give me any idea what it means? Does it mean that they are satisfied with the answers or they still have more queries?

Need your advice..

In my ECAS status house no is 11548 but actually it's 11458 means cic people made wrong entry in online system as I have seen that in PER email it was incorrect... .. I failed to note it in ECAS as well as PER mail because it is my mailing address(address of a relative in city).
Now when I realized it I sent an intimation about it in the email along with RPRF receipt and passport copies on 19june...but there is no update... Should I raise A CSE or do nothing as it is only mailing address and may be beneficial only for receiving passports after PPR and I should opt to receive them by hand if my ECAS status not updated by that time..

Should raising A CSE can delay my process or remind them about PPR.. :) ;)
