My medical was done on 10th June and Medical received line got updates on 3rd June. Have not received any update post that. I have sent the required documents along with RPRF fee slip viz email on 3rd June.

Is the time taken is normal ? When Can i expect next update in my case?

Hi Guys,

Is it OK to change my old passport to a new one after the medical? Reason is expiration date.

What will happened if VO send me RPRF and PPR and I am in the procedure of renewing my passport?

I would have probably 30 days for passport submission after PPR. My question is there will be some issues or not if in the mean time I change old passport and send by CSE copy of my new passport?

MAPLE LEAF on my PASSPORT yuhuuuuuuuuuuuuuu......



Well actually there no such maple leaf on the visa stamp as we think it may be just like in Canadian flag (Red & white). This made me think twice and check thoroughly about its genuineness. LOL !! Yeah but found that there are small maple leaf embossed in our visa.

Anyways avoiding the idiotic concern, I have received my PP stamped and COPR. Flying on 3rd Sep to London with a stopover of 14 days and then on 17th sep to Toronto.

Anyone who is looking to fly in similar dates kindly PM me. I will be landing YYZ on 17th Sept.

I had the same thought when everybody here in the forum saying that he / she received the visa with the Canada maple leaf on it. When I got the visa and COPR there was no such big maple leaf except a small one on the left top corner of the visa. But yes, it was a canada immigrant visa. Photo is also not on the visa as well. Photos are attached to the COPR letters. You get two copies of COPR for each family member. One copy with your photo on it and the other copy without photo. I will be landing on August 16th with my family.

please help me with this questin that is making me really puzzled

during my FSW application I put toronto as my destination city


I'm landing in toronto for a short landing , upon landing i'm planning to tell officer that i'm going to stay at our friends address at edmonton so they could send the PR to that address

i'm not intending to go to edmonton upon first landing and im just staying at toronto for 2 weeks and go back home to arrange things before coming back and settling in Edmonton


Would this scenario produce any problems ? would the officer ask for a proof of my onward flight to Edmonton? I really dont have any people i trust at toronto to give thiere address for PR card

This is fine and there is no restriction on the travel to Alberta. And by default if you wish to leave Toronto to another city is ok except for Quebec, because they have different process.

You can provide your friend's address in Edmonton for the PR card to be delivered. Hope this helps!

Hi Friends

My spouse is the main applicant and we filed my application in May after our marriage. My spouse raised an CSE to Warsaw VO to add me as dependent in the application and in reply the VO asked for my document including RPRF fee. We sent all the documents and paid only processing fees but did not pay RPRF thinking that they might take long to send us MR request. But they turned out to be really quick and they sent me medical request about 17 days after we sent them my application. They asked only Medical and no other document in the MR email. I got my medicals done on 23rd June (according to the hospital the medical report has been uploaded on 27th June) and paid RPRF fee (although they did not ask for it this time). We sent the medical tracking sheet and and RPRF receipts for me though courier (POD shows the courier was delivered on 30th June) as well as through email (sent on 29th June to email id warsaw-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca).

But today my spouse has received another email from the VO (from email id WSAWIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca) asking to pay RPRF for me.

We have decided to reply to id WSAWIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca while putting id warsaw-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca in CC. We are attaching my medical tracking sheet again, RPRF receipt for me and POD stating that the physical copies of the these two documents had already been delivered to them on 30th June.

Could you please advise if we are going right or suggest us the better way?
