If your CC or DD has not been encashed yet, then it is most likely that your application has not been accepted under FSW.
You are right, CIC have sent back the applications they did not accept.
It is possible that your documents got lost in transit.

Thats why its important to know if your CC or DD has been charged.

the other possible option is to call up CIC call center ans ask.

Guys,
I have landed in Canada on Canada Day. It's really a good place. Quick info listed down here-
1.Flight -Delhi - Brussels - Toronto - winnipeg- 52 k was comfier table, quality food.
2. Immigration process is easy - officers are really helpful.
3. POF- carried $12 k. Declared at toronto. (Single applicant)
4. SIN- got today within 10 minutes.
5. PR Card- may take 2 months.
6. Careful with documents as you have to take them out and in at many points during immigration.
7. Connecting flights - keep 3 hours buffer minimum as I migration and terminal change can consume time.
8. I took 4 hours buffer to winnipeg flight.
9. Carry my LED TV 32 inch included in my allowed weight.
10. Have some drinks on flight. It may lighten your long journey stress. Loll
11. Can take 10 kg in hand bag. Don't ask or offer for its weight.
12. Laptop bag can be used for documents.
Hope it may help.
13. B 4 form- they are bothered only about goods to follow or currency more than 10 k. Nothing else. But be prepared.

MAPLE LEAF on my PASSPORT yuhuuuuuuuuuuuuuu......



Well actually there no such maple leaf on the visa stamp as we think it may be just like in Canadian flag (Red & white). This made me think twice and check thoroughly about its genuineness. LOL !! Yeah but found that there are small maple leaf embossed in our visa.

Anyways avoiding the idiotic concern, I have received my PP stamped and COPR. Flying on 3rd Sep to London with a stopover of 14 days and then on 17th sep to Toronto.

Anyone who is looking to fly in similar dates kindly PM me. I will be landing YYZ on 17th Sept.

you can call now. below are the details..

1. Download Google Hangouts (optional) on your phone if it has an android or an apple OS.

2. Dial CIC (+16139444000). It costs nothing if you are done with option 1.

3. Navigate through IVR (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3, 1).

4. IVR will ask your application id. Don't wait for it to ask for 3 times before it routes you forward, just press # and it will instantly ask for your year of birth in 'YYYY'. Put the year of your birth.

5. IVR will tell you the waiting period before your call can be answered by an agent. Or if the call traffic is too high, it will ask you to call again later.

6. As soon as you get to the agent, just ask for the UCI#. They do not have any status information for FSW applications. Agent will ask for your last name, first name and date of birth. After some seconds, you will have your UCI#, if they have started processing your app.

If you get quick with the IVR, you can reach the waiting period (point# 5 above) within 2 minutes otherwise it may take around 6 to 7 mins before you are asked to wait for an agent.

My spouse is the main applicant and we filed my application in May after our marriage. My spouse raised an CSE to Warsaw VO to add me as dependent in the application and in reply the VO asked for my document including RPRF fee. We sent all the documents and paid only processing fees but did not pay RPRF thinking that they might take long to send us MR request. But they turned out to be really quick and they sent me medical request about 17 days after we sent them my application. They asked only Medical and no other document in the MR email. I got my medicals done on 23rd June (according to the hospital the medical report has been uploaded on 27th June) and paid RPRF fee (although they did not ask for it this time). We sent the medical tracking sheet and and RPRF receipts for me though courier (POD shows the courier was delivered on 30th June) as well as through email (sent on 29th June to email id warsaw-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca).

But today my spouse has received another email from the VO (from email id WSAWIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca) asking to pay RPRF for me.

We have decided to reply to id WSAWIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca while putting id warsaw-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca in CC. We are attaching my medical tracking sheet again, RPRF receipt for me and POD stating that the physical copies of the these two documents had already been delivered to them on 30th June.

Could you please advise if we are going right or suggest us the better way?

yer, thats the right approach.
when you sent them the rprf receipt first time, did you write your UCI number and name on the receipt.

P.S. dont forgot to write your file no in the subject line.

Dear all

please help me with this questin that is making me really puzzled

during my FSW application I put toronto as my destination city


I'm landing in toronto for a short landing , upon landing i'm planning to tell officer that i'm going to stay at our friends address at edmonton so they could send the PR to that address

i'm not intending to go to edmonton upon first landing and im just staying at toronto for 2 weeks and go back home to arrange things before coming back and settling in Edmonton


Would this scenario produce any problems ? would the officer ask for a proof of my onward flight to Edmonton? I really dont have any people i trust at toronto to give thiere address for PR card
