Hi, singh

Do you know how much it takes to add a baby after receiving passport stamped with visa?

I might deliver just two months before my visa expires. Do you think they would give my baby a visa before my visa expires?

dear,

You can not fly with baby due in another 2 months ,as no airways allow you to fly if one is in her 6 month of pregnancy. But if your are in ur 3-4 month , then u can conceal the fact from airways and land there and get delivered in canada . in this case your baby will be born citizen.

Also what i ready some where on cic website, If there is change in family after you r stamped and before you fly, one has to inform CIC as your visa & COPR will become invalid and they have to issue a new visa and COPR for the complete family , as in ur COPR ur kid is also mentioned. and in this case your complete processing will take another 3-4 months easily.

But a heads up: if u plan to travel nw and get delivery in canada, then only two places one is alberta another one i dnt remember the name , gives u medical coverage from first day of landing for other states like ON an etc it takes three months to get government medical insurance and till then u have to dig deep in ur pocket .. a delivery will cost somewhere 2-3k

Hi Arkscan,

thank you dear!

1) Landing was effortless process, it was just matter of waiting in queue. no tough questions from the officer.
2) I am sharing accommodation with my friend and yet to get permanent one for my soon arriving family.
3) Heathrow: I was first time abroad traveler, but found it easy to transit. Unlike in India, they do not broad you in much advance. I was asked to board the transit bus something around 30 min.

Additionally, officer was quite helpful. I had incomplete address of my friends, she call my friend and got the complete address and recorded it for sending PR card.

Thanks,

Guys,
I have landed in Canada on Canada Day. It's really a good place. Quick info listed down here-
1.Flight -Delhi - Brussels - Toronto - winnipeg- 52 k was comfier table, quality food.
2. Immigration process is easy - officers are really helpful.
3. POF- carried $12 k. Declared at toronto. (Single applicant)
4. SIN- got today within 10 minutes.
5. PR Card- may take 2 months.
6. Careful with documents as you have to take them out and in at many points during immigration.
7. Connecting flights - keep 3 hours buffer minimum as I migration and terminal change can consume time.
8. I took 4 hours buffer to winnipeg flight.
9. Carry my LED TV 32 inch included in my allowed weight.
10. Have some drinks on flight. It may lighten your long journey stress. Loll
11. Can take 10 kg in hand bag. Don't ask or offer for its weight.
12. Laptop bag can be used for documents.
Hope it may help.
13. B 4 form- they are bothered only about goods to follow or currency more than 10 k. Nothing else. But be prepared.

I have ordered couple of GCMS reports one on april and another on June.

The one that I ordered in April had the security section fully printed and the other one on June had it whitened out.
There was no activity on my case between these two dates.

Did they start to whiten security for all. Or is it a sign of trouble for me specifically?

Hi,

Please check the top right of the page carefully. There must be some section printed on that page. It means that some kind of verification checks are going on.

Unfortunate, but a number of things can result in such a scenario.
How many jobs did you change. Did you work for some employers who were not MNCs, rather small. Did any of those companies shut down.
Any possible medical condition which they think might add more burden on their health system.
This is not the complete list, but just of the things which can slowdown the process.

Hey Alok.

I have worked on 3 companies but I need just one year to fulfill 67 points criteria and I am from last 4.5 years in same company which is registered and is paying taxes etc all properly.

No medical condition. GCMS says that all medicals are clear.

It's only the security part which is not started yet or may be in verification as I have long list on address in India.

I ordered GCMS notes on 21st May the security and Activity section whitened out. All the pages where in the top right hand corner you have 15(1) or 16(1) or 19(1) written, on all that pages information has been hidden.

Apparently what info I have from CIC website is that when security checks (background Check) are going on that time they may choose to hide info in GCMS notes as they think revealing the info may hamper the security checks.

So apparently like you background checks are under process on my file too since last 6 months.

So cant predict whether its good or Bad, but a very long waiting period for some guys like us.

Exactly. I too have these sections in my GCMS but problem is the time limit. I have medical expiry on 6th October which is the part I am most worried about.

Yes, I am also afraid of medicals expiry, you have only 3 months from now. I hope you will get it soon.

Even I don't know what is causing delay in my case too.

Its really unfortunate in your case that after receiving Medicals they planned and conducted the verification. But in majority of such cases candidates are receiving some sort of reply or status updates before their medical expires. So you might get something before that.

For me its reverse, verification are underway and then only they shall issue Medical and PCC request. So I have fingers crossed that they since verification will be out of the way they might conclude all pending processes soon.

I dont think many addresses are going to be a problem, as they are all from India.
But I think they do verify all jobs irrespective of whether it is required for eligibility points or not.

Have you already sent them Police Certificates?

Surprising no updates from NDVO for the last two weeks...

Has anyone is this group received telephonic verification from NDVO (Visa Officer ) and asked for explanation within 30 days ? if so please PM just wanted to know the outcome once you have submitted the letter ...

Thank you

Yes I sent them PCC in October itself. One company I worked in for 1 year is closed. 2nd was contract of 6 months 3rd one I am working in.
