I still have not heard anything. Looking at the timeline of other applicants, it seems everyone is receiving their meds within few months of application being submitted.

Anyone else in the same boat ?
Any Suggestions as to what is going on with my file ? all comments welcome

Hi guys,

I need to ask, if one delivers a baby just two months before landing deadline date.. Is it ok or can it delay landing in case the baby doesn't get a visa quickly..


Please anyone who had to add their babies after they got visa stamped, how long did it take for the baby to get a visa?

It is suggested that you inform the VO about an expected change to your application asap and take it from there.
They will most likely put your application on hold.
Once the baby is delivered, you need to furnish required documents, proof of funds etc. and proceed.

I can understand your situation buddy.
Normally, in a very happy world, it takes 2-3 weeks from Medicals received to passport request.

But then, some of us have to go through the tough route.

Have you tried sending a CSE to your VO.

I have ordered couple of GCMS reports one on april and another on June.

The one that I ordered in April had the security section fully printed and the other one on June had it whitened out.
There was no activity on my case between these two dates.

Did they start to whiten security for all. Or is it a sign of trouble for me specifically?

Nothing. Only thing I know is that my file is in some kind of verification from last 9 months :

Unfortunate, but a number of things can result in such a scenario.
How many jobs did you change. Did you work for some employers who were not MNCs, rather small. Did any of those companies shut down.
Any possible medical condition which they think might add more burden on their health system.
This is not the complete list, but just of the things which can slowdown the process.

I ordered GCMS notes on 21st May the security and Activity section whitened out. All the pages where in the top right hand corner you have 15(1) or 16(1) or 19(1) written, on all that pages information has been hidden.

Apparently what info I have from CIC website is that when security checks (background Check) are going on that time they may choose to hide info in GCMS notes as they think revealing the info may hamper the security checks.

So apparently like you background checks are under process on my file too since last 6 months.

So cant predict whether its good or Bad, but a very long waiting period for some guys like us.
