Seniors please help !!

>>Got DM(4th line update) on May 6 ,2015 for me(Primary applicant) and my wife.
>>notified VO through email about my newborn baby.
>>email acknowledged by VO with info on how to add the newborn to the application and the supported docs required plus additional fees.
>>DM Status changed back to In-Process but the 4th line continued to show in description.
>>Submitted newborns PP copy and BirthCertificate with additional docs plus fee on June 10, 2015. Also added the updated copy of my new PP issued recently.

Friends,

Me and my family are landing after 3 weeks :D 8). I will stay for 15 days and then return back to home country.

There was a previous post of someone landed and he talked about his first days experience and the most important things to do once we land. Things like what official documents I should/must bring with me, opening a bank account, getting driving license, SIN number, medical insurance, PR card, etc..

Can someone help me find this post?

Here are few things I want you to know ... SIN can be done easily in 30 minutes. It can be done in any Service Canada center. Driving license can also be done in 1/2 day but you need to know the rules and regulations before attempting the written exam. This is not tough though.

Medical insurance can also be done but you need to produce valid address proof on your behalf.

PR card is taking at least 67 days of processing time now. Please make sure you include any known friends address if you are sure about leaving Canada after 15 days. But how will you land afterwards. Did you plan for that??

Hi guys,

I need to ask, if one delivers a baby just two months before landing deadline date.. Is it ok or can it delay landing in case the baby doesn't get a visa quickly..

Please anyone who had to add their babies after they got visa stamped, how long did it take for the baby to get a visa?

Your help is highly appreciated.. This is urgent.. Please reply..

Hi all,

While enjoying Canada day :D, can anyone help please.

I got MR from Ottawa last Thursday,
(1) no RPRF nor second line, is this normal?
(2) I haven't sent my PCC, should I send it now or wait for them to ask me to send it?
(3) Getting MR means I passed background check? (of course not criminality).

Thanks for your feedback

A

Happy Canada Day everyone!!

hello....I received my COPR but it still contains my old passport number and my old name on it :(. I raised a CSE for the same. I dont think such a COPR with old information will be of any use to me in future. Also, they have not put stamp on my new passport. I have been using my new passort more than a year now and same have been comunicated to Visa office already. Any suggestions please.

Did u send your both passports (old and new) to visa office?
If yes, better to wait for the response. They may take 2-3 weeks to respond to the CSE

Don't worry bro.. definitely you can feel happy of having attained your goal. This is only a clerical error. Suggest send an email to your local VO as this is an error made by VO and not a mere case enquiry. Prepare a clear, polite and precise write up notifying the errors, scan the COPR and visa and email them (If NDVO, then email delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca). They should reply to your email requesting your set of PP, COPR and photographs again and you can resubmit in VFS free of cost (if you initially sent it through VFS). Good Luck bro :)

Guys,

Am sending documents for adding my new born via snail mail.

- Do you suggest that I should send an email to Delhi Immigration too with 20 pages attachments ?

- Do I need to send it on the delhi embassy address where we usually send our MR documents?

- Is it also required to inform the vo about the updated funds in cad $ in the cover letter? Or no need to mention?

Thanks in advance for replying to my queries..

My VO is colombo .MR was on 29th April .still waiting for PPR

When can I expect ppr
