Here are few things I want you to know ... SIN can be done easily in 30 minutes. It can be done in any Service Canada center. Driving license can also be done in 1/2 day but you need to know the rules and regulations before attempting the written exam. This is not tough though.ferry-1978 said:Friends,
Me and my family are landing after 3 weeks 8). I will stay for 15 days and then return back to home country.
There was a previous post of someone landed and he talked about his first days experience and the most important things to do once we land. Things like what official documents I should/must bring with me, opening a bank account, getting driving license, SIN number, medical insurance, PR card, etc..
Can someone help me find this post?
Did u send your both passports (old and new) to visa office?bainsneetu said:hello....I received my COPR but it still contains my old passport number and my old name on it . I raised a CSE for the same. I dont think such a COPR with old information will be of any use to me in future. Also, they have not put stamp on my new passport. I have been using my new passort more than a year now and same have been comunicated to Visa office already. Any suggestions please.
yes, I sent both the passports. now dont know whether i should be happy or what..No stamp on passport and wrong name and passport number on COPR.nanni_doc said:Did u send your both passports (old and new) to visa office?
If yes, better to wait for the response. They may take 2-3 weeks to respond to the CSE
Don't worry bro.. definitely you can feel happy of having attained your goal. This is only a clerical error. Suggest send an email to your local VO as this is an error made by VO and not a mere case enquiry. Prepare a clear, polite and precise write up notifying the errors, scan the COPR and visa and email them (If NDVO, then email delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca). They should reply to your email requesting your set of PP, COPR and photographs again and you can resubmit in VFS free of cost (if you initially sent it through VFS). Good Luck brobainsneetu said:yes, I sent both the passports. now dont know whether i should be happy or what..No stamp on passport and wrong name and passport number on COPR.
