Dear Friends,

Is it required to have a transit visa if the layover is in Germany for 3 hours?

Please help since the embassy don't actually give straight answers :(

Use this to find out the Transit Visa requirements->

http://www.flyslm.com/visa.html

or

http://www.staralliance.com/en/services/visa-and-health/

Both are connected to the IATA Database hence it contains the most recent updated information...

Hello Friends,

I have received the Passport Request Letter email. That's great news!!!

I have a little dilemma as I am currently abroad for another month but the letter mentions that I need to submit my passport within 30 days, which ideally should be on or before 8 July 2015.

I would need some advise if I should return immediately to submit my passport or can I raise a CSE and request for an extension.

Look forward to valuable advise from the group members.

Best regards,

You can raise a CSE and ask for an extension for a few days (give reason for requesting, of course)...I know of one person who did and got a positive reply...Keep in mind though in case NDVO diesn't respond on time, make plans to return and submit within deadline...

Hi Friends,

I have applied for Swiz PCC and it is getting delayed. Last day for submitting my PCC to NDVO is 05-July-2015. However i have not received the PCC sent by the swisspost on 12-Jun-2015.

I'm confused as to what i should do next. Is it possible to ask for some extra time to submit the PCC.
Kindly help me in this regard.

Regards,
B. Sundar

You can ask for an extension for submitting the Swiss PCC only...Attach Documentary Evidence of applying for the Swiss PCC and any screenshot of usual timelines if applicable...Many ppl have requested like this for FBI PCC Submission and got positive reply...

Question any experts can answer...

Can a primary applicant land for 3 to 4 weeks and come back.. And after that can dependents goto land in Canada, while the principal applicant is away from Canada.

Yes this is possible. But read the new rules for citizenship. One has to stay for 4 years out of 6 years and also a minium of 186 days in a year to be eligible for citizenship.

Dear stallion123,

I have difference experience from VFS staff.

I have submitted my PP at VFS on 29th May but still not received back yet.

I am following up with VFS staff since last one week about the PP status but they are saying PP's are with CHC New Delhi and in process.
They are unable to ask CHC on behalf of me but said that if I submit them a request letter then they will deliver it to CHC and shall have to wait for reply from CHC.

Can't understand what shall I do now.

hi
I m also in almost same time frame. I submitted on 8th june. Did call vfs bu said the same thing its with ndvo.
I am thinking of rasing cse maybe next wk. Did u send cse? Do let me know please.

As you can clearly see that in thse notes they have mentioned that verification is going on your file for MISREPRESENTATION which is very serious issue for CIC. theres a possible ban attached to it if they get evidence of wrong evidence.
Normal verification itself is taking long looong time, so urs will take even longer.. sorry to say that.. but you will have to wait. While you wait check with your employer or the person from whom you got your reference letters, if they have received any call regarding your job verification. Think of any other points in the checklist that may have caused problems.. eg. travel history ...have you updated all the info exactly.. did you miss any of the travel details? police clearance etc.. are all of them upto date? if you think you missed any immediately update cic with a satisfactory explanation letter and reapply for gcms notes after 3 or 4 months after the due date mentioned in your gcms notes.
Hope this helps.

buddy don't scare him. All the files that have verification have the MISREPRESENTATION section whitened so any kind of verification will be counted in that. He is not the first one to have it.
