Congrats for PPR. For resign it depends n your notice period if its
2 Months then you can give it before having visa
in hand to save time.

I submitted my PPs yesterday. what is the average processing time to get them back? Ppl keep saying 8-10 days but everybody who is posting it seems to be getting it after 20 days. Please share as i will resign based on the information provided. By the way, do you guys think its a good idea to resign before getting the passports back?

Where are you guys booking tickets from? what should it cost? Sorry, lots of questions in my head.

Best of luck to my friends who are waiting for DM/PPR. hope you get it soon.

Can a primary applicant land for 3 to 4 weeks and come back.. And after that can dependents goto land in Canada, while the principal applicant is away from Canada.

I got the ppr at 15th May and send the pp at 17th May. In my VFS track system, It shows that the passport was received by SGVO at 20th May and there is no update after this. It is more than 1 month. What is the cause of such delay? Is it normal? Do i need to send an inquiry? Please advice.

Landed in Toronto with my husband on 21/6.Travelled with Finair from Delhi. Booked 4 additional bags-total 6. Carried $15000(4500 in cash and balance DD).Got phone in canada,opened bank account.Applied Sin no(counter at airport was closed when we landed).Staying with a friend.Hunting for accommodation where public transport is available nearby. yet to apply for driving licence. Shall hunt for job next week.

I guess the best option in my opinion is to hold until you see the Maple Leaf in PP. Don't resign immediately!
