Hi all ! I'm a new member. Can someone guide me where can I update my timeline ?
I'm a 17th December applicant waiting MR.

PER 4th March
AOR. 28th April
MR. Waiting ....

Medical Request: Nov 2014
Self Medical Done: Dec 2014
Wife's Partial Medical Done: Dec 2014 (X-Ray pending due to pregnancy)
Wife's X-Ray and Baby's medical done: June 2015

Now If we get visa in 2-3 months then we have to fly by Dec 2015 (bcoz my medical is going to expire in Dec 2015)
Is there any option for me to go for medical again to take advantage of 1 year visa validity? If yes then what is the process?

There is a "Profile" link at top right corner.
Then select "Forum Profile Information" under "Modify Profile"

Dear Friends,

Due to Medical Furtherance my case is already late for three months as I am July applicant.My third line up on 12 June 2015,waiting for DM & PPR.
When do I aspect good news from NDVO?

canada after landing same as before or

V have to spend 183 days each yr after landing???

I am very confused??

Plz clear this issue.

you should be a full member to have your left hand side profile. 20 posts make you a full member, you currently stand at 5.

No there isn't any such option to give ur medicals again...If however they don't finalize ur case by Dec'15, then u will be asked for Remedicals...and then that 1 yr validity thing will restart..But that is not going to happen ..So be prepared to fly at short notice...

For meeting ur PR Residency obligations (to extend ur PR) same as before...u can actually stay 3 yrs outside Canada after landing...

For applying for Citizenship, however, yes u have to spend 183 days each year and spend 4 years out of 6...(Bill C-24 which was enforced recently)
