Need some advice for you. I got PER on 10th Jan and now waiting for Medical request. During this time, we renewed the passport of my spouse and kids. When is the appropriate time to inform about the renewal of passport to Visa office. I am thinking to submit it when they ask for the medical test. Is it good idea or shall I send it without waiting for medical request.
My timeline is : Category:FSW1, NOC:4011, VO:Manila, Appl filed: 4th Oct, CC: 13th Dec, PER:10th Jan

The appropriate time is 'ASAP'. Raise a query with your concerned VO and they will guide you fromm there.
Any change to your circumstances should immediately be comminicated to them.

Can anybody tell me how to book an appointment on the stupid VFS site for passport submission. I cant even find a link to check available dates. And their call centre is already closed.

Congrats! you dont need to book an appointment for passport submission. All you need is the email that is sent to you by ndvo and the documents. Thats it go and submit it. But i think they dont work on saturdays. check on their website for it.

I needed advice, i was trying to see Egypt air for the travel..the flight is via Cairo..and the layover in Cairo is 14 hours. Flight lands at 11.30am and the connecting flight is at 2am..I am not getting confirmed info if a transit visa would be needed for an Indian national in this case...Kindly respond..Does anyone has any experience of flying through them??
I hope to get some input on this..

It was rejected more than 10 years back but It totally didn't came to my mind to add on my initial application. Now realised and have sent amended form to them...hope it it ok and ok just by post

You're right bro, post is not a problem, it is better to keep singular mode of communication, helps them maintain your file more easily. however, I do hope you have included a resonable explanation as to why you provided incorrect information in the first place, along with the updated form. I had a similar problem and had provided a frank clarification to demonstrate my genuine case.

I differ a bit here in my opinion...I feel you should wait for VO to get back to you. You can include the new PP copies along with MR & RPRF since the VO asks you for the updated copies of the PP front & back bio pages, anticipating some sort of changes or revisions. If you send the docs now, they may or may not be collated correctly to your file. When you send it in response to Med request, they will already be expecting your docs and will attach them correctly. I don't think raise a CSE each and every time is the right way to go...reserve this path only for the most dire of situations.

2. 6 months from Visa stamping.

Whichever is early

Is this info correct. Should we land in 6 months of Visa stamping , as most of the case this will be the earliest.

Recently I have received Med request & RPRF. Accompanying them is an update information form.
I am the Pr. Applicant with 3 dependent (each with different UCI and Application No.)

My question is about:

First:"information update form": whether only my (as only one space is provided at top right corner) or all the family member's application number needs to be mentioned on this form?

Second: receipt has the mention of my name (although I have paid for my spouse also as a 'single payment' of $980) & my UCI has to be filled in on the same receipt. Is it implicit that the payment includes my spouse also?

Hi Sky_01, your case is a bit different since a family members/dependants are generally included in a single application, hence the application has 1 file no. and the primary applicant has 1 UCI. However, let me try to analyse the situation:

1. I believe 4 separate Info update forms should be filled, one for each UCI, considering that each form has one 1 space for a UCI.

2. RPRF payment is based on no. of applications, which is CAD 980 per application. If you've submitted a single application, the fees is ok, because you would have logged in to ECAS through your own UCI. So, the fees is for your own UCI and all the dependants included under its corresponding file no./application.

I may not be 100% accurate and it is best to seek professional opinion (like an agent) or from someone in a similar situation, search this forum completely n try to seek out relevant info. I would suggest the CSE route only if all other options are exhausted and you are unable to resolve this situation within the next couple of days.

Can you shed more light on how there are 4 different UCI nos. in your case ?

I m not sure but it may be different for different application types, but its 9 months in my case and the accompanying letter mentions that the visa expiry date is the maximum possible and cannot be extended any further.
