Although I am also thinking of travelling for a week but I cannot afford to stay till the time to receive Pr cards like for 2 months? Will that be ok? Like in the worst situation if they say to personally come and collect PR cards

Calling NDVO probably not an option. However, you may try to walk down to NDVO with your situation. Though they wont allow you IN, chances that you might get some information or some notice on this scenario. But HIGHLY not RECOMMENDED.

GCMS - a new case processing system by CIC that replaces CAIPS which is fully
implemented since April 2011.

In short a thorough detail on your application. However, note that they have right to hide any particular information. But you better go for it.

PR cards are couriered to the address in canada which you will be stating at the time of entry[port]. So, probably there will be nothing much to be collected in person thing. If you have any of your relatives/friends staying there, you may ask them to collect it and post it her for you.

Nothing to worry. Its good news actually. Not specific order for PPR and DM. Either can arrive first.

My time line is as below,

Original VO- NDVO (Don't Know. It is should be because I have not received any update )
Application Received- 17th Oct 2014
PER- 21st Jan 2015
NOC - 2172

I got married on 30th Jan 2015. I have sent all the necessary documents ( Marriage Certificate, Photos, Application Forms, DD, Cover latter, Photographs etc.) to CIC as there is an amendment in my marital status. I have not received any intimation. I also wrote to CIC to know about my file status couple of weeks back but did not hear anything from them yet. I really do not know what to do now please guide me.

Friends, finally its my turn to share some good news.

My consultant received my PPR request yesterday which she forwarded today. I rushed to the VFS and submitted the passports today.
Now the final, final, very final wait for the visa to fall in my hands and this journey will finally come to a fruitful closure.

Thank you all for being there for me and for each other . We are one big virtual family that shares each other's hopes and despairs.
May your journey also end with the same positive note as mine and good luck for a bright future in Canada- the country of our dreams!!!!!
