How did you submit your request the Canada High Commission for passport submission changed to Abu Dhabi VO?? Because Im in Muscat and I would like to know whether there is an option to submit my pp in Abu Dhabi itself.

Thnx bro..I mailed to Colombo VO & Abu DHabi VO simultaneously raised CSE to them also..I got a reply from ABu DHabi VO in like 10 mins time they asked me to contact my visa office i.e Colombo VO..and then in 1 hours time i received reply from Colombo also stating would you require only yours or your family members pp to be submitted in Abu DHabi.
I replied to them and next day they again replied me wait for our further instruction..And on Friday they mailed a pdf of 6 pages where in it was their approval to submit in Abu DHabi VFS or Candadian Embassy..as vfs was near by to my house i went their and submitted..
But make sure your mail subject line highlights PASSPORT SUBMISSION URGENCY or any line which shows your case is urgent as you have specific period to undergo all process..Coz they might receive lot of mails from many just to ask their file status for which they take time to reply..But urgency case like PP SUbmission or MR issue etc they reply soon unless n until your subject line is urgent..All d best.!!

I think this shouldnt be a problem

But make sure he writes the file number followed by your mailing address as mentioned by your application.
Also i would advice you to ask your friend to send you a scanned copy of the same so that you can also keep a copy.

Thats really big delay..by visa office............in ur case u didnt get DEcision made.........
in my case DM on 9 may....waiting for PPR...
and from global spread sheet max time limt after DM is 38 days...........
so u should raise a CSE............

Guys sorry for the late reply but happy to share with you all i got PPR on 13/5/15...was asked to submit PP to Vfs India..requested Colombo VO for Submission of PP in Abu Dhabi on 13/5/15 itself..received approval documents in pdf format on 15/5/15...Submitted PP on 17/5/15 at Vfs Abu Dhabi... ;D ;D
They said it will take 5 days to process..hopefully it should come by Sunday... ;D

Just got an email from HKVO asking our PCCs, hospital birth certificate from my daughter (I only sent the one I got at BR Embassy) AND to pay the RPRF ;D

Should I expect MR to come in the next few days? Does the fact that they already asked for RPRF mean that background check is done?

My wife is primary applicant and we have mentioned in the application that dependants will be accompanying PA. Same is mentioned in COPR as well. I would like to know, if PA alone wants to travel first, do we need to inform anyone prior to landing ?

As i said it was a simple email thats it...luckily i got a reply but at that point of time i was excited,curious,tensed about how to process PP, worried etc etc and other hell lot of emotions going inside ( definately u will also experience it once you receive it.. ;D) so in a very hurry and didn't even consulted forum members i just shoot a simple mail..i was lucky enuf to get replies..

but would suggest you to mention your application details also..like application number etc..
