Hi,

1) Professionally, you should pay him remaining amount. Most of the consultants take complete money before starting the process.
2) If you know your client ID or IMM number, you can request VO to update the records.
3) Your Husband can get medical done in NZ itself.
4) Once done with Medical and submitting your RPRF receipt, just wait for the PPR mail :)

Cheers!!!

Thank you so much for your response :)

hey Friends,

Have a question?? Can me and my spouse submit passport at two different VO's (Canada and New York) or is it mandatory to submit both together ??

Dear Seniors,
Finally I received today the 18th of May, 2015 Request for Medical for me and my wife. This is great news...
When we were submitting our application we were just common law partners and got married inbetween this year. We sent an email with information and scanned copy of our wedding certificate to the Visa Office in Vienna and it seems everything went well since they requested for Medical.

My questions to you guys are:
- My wife has a new passport with my surname now different from the old one. Should I inform the Visa office of it before doing the medical? The medical form contains are old name and she still has the old passport too?

- We are relocating to a different country for work in a month- Should I request the Visa Office to be changed to the country we are going to? Wont this delay my application?

- How long do we have to use the visa when we get it to be able to go to Canada?

- Lastly what is done for the medical? Should I be worried about anything?

-How would I know if an interview is waived.

Thank you so much guys ;)

Hi Every one

Hope everybody is doing good and enjoying life as it comes.

First,Thank you all for your help all through.

We completed our Medicals. We sent our passports for stamping.

Meanwhile I have few queries which I would be really grateful if anybody could answer for me:

Before we move permanently to settle down in Canada, we would like to make a short visit and complete our landing procedures and apply for PR Card and come back without PR Card and Our friend will collect our PR cards on our behalf on their Postal Address and will courier them to us outside Canada address.

My Queries:

1. For the first time, Can we stay for a week or two and make arrangements for our PR Card to be collected by someone else(Friend) on our behalf and courier our PR Cards to us? Is this OK as per CIC rules?

2. Or if someone else collects our PR Card on our behalf, can it create problem for us later on?

3. Are we allowed to specify the address of our another Close friend who reside in Montreal,Quebec province for receiving the PR Card ?(but We will settle in Toronto only)

As we don't have any relatives in Canada, we are concerned.

Your prompt response is awaited

Thanking you

Regards

I quoted avg timelines . each application will be processed uniquely depending on the complexity and number of dependents above 18.
