Hi kishcanada,

if you are waiting on your VISA to fly at earliest, then VFS makes sense. Otherwise, you can submit it to Abhinav, it will save you 600+ money and most importantly, they will cross-check your photo & forms before sending. After all they are in this business from several years. And yes, I opted to submit it through Abhinav.
BTW, Which is your destination city? I am also in Bangalore, did processed application with Abhinav and NOC 2171

Dear Experts,

One of my friend got rejection from CIC stated the reason that "Employers reference letters were not included". But he has included 2 affidavits from his seniors/Managers along with detailed duties performed during his tenure in 2 different organizations. He has also included the email from his current employer that HR department can not provide him duties on company's letter head.

Now, as FSWP 2014 is closed. Is there any hope if he send his letter back to CIC with cover letter ?

I would like to know, if anyone is able to submit his/her file successfully without any reference letter from employer?

Valuable comments from senior forum members will be highly appreciated!

With GOD grace, I got PPR Yesterday. My timelines are as below:

App Filed - 11 Aug'2014
Processing Started - 2nd Dec'2014
MR - 2nd March
MR and PCC sent - 2nd April
PPR Received - 15 May

Please suggest me for the following situation:

I was planned to go to Europe on 24th May for 3 months on official tour. Now in PPR, CIC mentioned that passport should be received within 30 days. I am from Bangalore and processing at New Delhi VO. Now, I am stuck; what should I do?

- Should I send a letter to VO that I am gng abroad for official work and will send my PP for Visa stamping after return. And then I send my passport in August to them.

- Should I delay my official tour by giving some personal reason and send my Passport for stamping through VFS. Please suggest, what is the average time of visa stamping from New Delhi VO after PPR. And what is the maximum time?

Please guide; I am now stucked after reaching at this stage.

In my case, VFS people told Passports will be returned within 15-20 days. Hence my personal opinion is to immediately submit ur passport for stamping and postpone ur official tour (if possible, bcosu know it better) for 20 days. BCOS you have come this long way and why to hold the whole process only for 15 days. Better getting along with normal operational mode of NDVO than asking them to hold ur case since we are not sure of how NDVO works after that.

This is my personal opinion. Seniors, pls advise

I too agree. If I were you, I would give NDVO more preference. (Again - This is my personal view)

hi Seniors,

Please advise on below points:

1) How long does it take normally to get PPR after 3rd line updated (28th April) where I yet need to send the MR completion document of new born on Monday 18/05.

2) How much time they give to do for passport submission after PPR as I need to give my son's passport of UK Visa which will take around a month to complete and after that only I can able to submit the passport for PPR.

First of all Congratulations for your PPR request !!!!!!

Try to reschedule your official tour for a fortnight and submit your passports with VFS at the earliest..

Once got the passport after Stamping with COPR proceed with your official trip which I would suggest you since you put these many efforts and come to this stage.

Once I do my landing, can I immediately come back to India and fly back to Canada without my PR card in my hand?

I want do the landing formalities for my family along with me and then drop my daughter back in India, within a weeks time.
