I have submitted my passport at abudhabi visa office for PR visa stamping on the 20th of April 2015. Havent heard from them since then. How long does it usually take to get the passport back? Is there any way to follow up?

Hello Seniors,

I am re-filling Generic-Application Form to add my wife to the application, I have few queries under dependent section

1. For question 3 under personal details (asking for UCI number), what i need to fill. As my wife is applying for the first time i am leaving this section as blank, i am confused whether it should be blank or write my UCI number.
2. For question 3 under Education/Occupation Details (asking for Current Occupation and Intended Occupation), what i need to answer? My wife is currently not working and a home maker. Please let me know what I need to fill in for these questions.

but there is mistake in confirmation of permanent residence 0f my spouse as the citizenship is typed as India which shud have been Nepal.
what shud be done...any one had this case before? shud I worry??

How many days it takes LVO normally to ask for MR? Does it vary from Country to Country or what kindly share your experience dear all????

Its been more than 90 days since i have received my PER but nothing received from LVO in respect of MR and now i am getting worried. :'( :'( :'(

Okk....Get ur PCC done immediately...don't wait for MR....Indian PCCs issued from PSK have a one year validity, and from Commissioner's Office- 6 months validity..so either ways ur safe...

Having PCCs on-hand will reduce ur delay in submission once u get MR....u have waited long already...

Could somebody give me an insight. Why there is no third line update on Ecas though I took the medical exam on April 09? Why is it longer time? Do you think there was something wrong on my test? The physician is emedicals enabled and confirms that results were submitted to the embassy in the afternoon of the same day I took the exam. :-\ the doctor told me that all is normal for me and my family.
Do you think is it because that I just submitted FBI PCC to the embassy lat week that 3rd line did not get updated.

Firstly, Congrats!!
Secondly, that error needs to be corrected....COPR is a v. important document buddy, it's needed even at the time of applying for Citizenship....Do not take chances..You can even be denied landing if the Officer notices this...

Raise a CSE with urgent tag to NDVO and also send a mail to Delhi-Immigration....attach a signed cover letter advising them of the error and requesting the procedure to resubmit for a correction...You can also attach a scanned copy of ur spouse's Passport Bio-Pages and the COPR u have received....Good luck and keep us posted!!

They r the cheapest at $25 (i got it from them) but they took 45 days to process....U need to follow-up regularly with them to get in 30 days which should be the normal processing time

No, FBI PCC is not related to 3rd line...TLU only for Meds

Ur VO is unique, are there any other Applicants from ur VO from which we can get a trend....NDVO generally updates TLU in a week bcos it supposedly has a dedicated and huge Medical section....for Rabat, the process may be different..Fo ex. CPP-Ottawa also takes time to update 3rd line but gives PPR shortly thereafter...

So, don't worry- as long as the Doc has told u all reports are fine...u will get ur 3rd line..just hang in there for a while..hope u get it soon

How many family members in ur application? For 2 family members' the POF is given as S14,853.

Also for curiosity, where did u get ur travellers chq issued and what were the rates/ charges? Did u split the cheques into smaller amounts.....

I have one query. Am a August applicant. SL on 21 feb. Waiting for mr but till now no response from their side. Is it due to some background verification going on or it may be due to heavy rush at Ndvo? I mean all the applicants who are waiting for a long time now for mr, all of them are stuck at the verification stage or it may be due to overload of work at Ndvo?? Wait is killing......

Hi kishcanada,

if you are waiting on your VISA to fly at earliest, then VFS makes sense. Otherwise, you can submit it to Abhinav, it will save you 600+ money and most importantly, they will cross-check your photo & forms before sending. After all they are in this business from several years. And yes, I opted to submit it through Abhinav.
BTW, Which is your destination city? I am also in Bangalore, did processed application with Abhinav and NOC 2171
