Thank you Arkscan

I need to travel from Delhi...I know flights are bit costly from Delhi...

Do we need transit visas if we have stoppage in Germany...I am really confused where we need transit visa and where not....

Hi Monika,
This is explained in the Lufthansa page here->
http://www.lufthansa.com/online/portal/lh/in/local?nodeid=3116855

2. Indian passport holders in possession of a valid visa to their final destination, but transiting via two Schengen States, require a valid Schengen Visa.

Routing Example : Chennai- Frankfurt- Paris -Chicago- Frankfurt- Chennai or Chennai- Frankfurt- Munich -Chicago- Frankfurt- Chennai

Transit Visa requirements also applies if one of the transiting airports is Vienna or Zurich. e.g. New Delhi - Vienna - Frankfurt/Munich/Dusseldorf - USA/Canada

In the above routing, the Indian resident would require a Schengen Visa even if there no stopover in Frankfurt or Paris or Munich.

3. Indian nationals can Transit without Visa via FRA or MUC if holding a valid visa for the destination and a valid Visa for any of the following countries

Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Ireland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Romania, UK and USA (the approval notice I-797 is not valid document for visa free airport transit).

In short, if ur flight has only one stop in Frankfurt/ Munich, u do not need a Transit Visa since u have Canadian Visa.

But if ur flight has two stops in 2 Schengen Area Countries (even when there is no stopover/ disembarkation) , u need a Transit Visa....:)

Suggest you also consider the BA flight via London....ppl have said good things abt it and u don't need a Transit Visa in UK.....:)

am here friend. Still waiting. Do you have a travel history? or did you submit any additional docs like renewed passports or something?

Dear Reshmiarun,

I am also the one who applied on 12th Aug and got TLU on 7th April but still waiting for PPR.

I have a travel history of 2 yrs to Canada. So, in that case is it possible that it will delay the process. Already I am waiting from last 1.5 mnths for PPR.

Regards

Dear Formaties,

Today I got the email from NDVO for interview. I am very much tensed. Is it the normal process or I am the unlucky one. Kindly give your valuable advice. My category is 1123. It is professional in sales and marketing.

guys i might have to travel on the 1st week of June so would need my PP back
submitted it on 12th of may ... any idea how long the stamping from NDVO is taking?

As per recent timeline, 1 week or max 2.

Forumties

I wish to change my mailing address & email address because my consultant is not updating me proper information & i have already submitted in written to NDVO. Sent by courier few days back.

Question is how much time NDVO takes to update in their systems. So that my consultant do not receive any information/request in future?
