Finally After 379 Days of submitting FSWP Application I got the mighty Maple Leaf Visa today..

Both are good options Riya, I believe ppl (including me) opt for VFS more coz its secure and also allow you to track status plus SMS alert. If you send via bluedart then VO would return it by Registered post. In any case we need to send passport to High Commission of Canada, New Delhi.

Could not have kept my sanity during this long journey and frustrating wait if not for your encouragement, kind words and motivation.
Especially the wait of more than 5 months (156 days) from PER to MR request was frustrating.

All the very best to people who are waiting for PER, MR, PCC, SLU, TLU, DM and PPR.
Please be assured that you are in my prayers for speedy processing of your applications.
Hang in there and patience will see you sail through, make you successfully land in Canada, and find a brighter and successful life.

There are ppl who have done thru Bluedart....including Forum seniors like rvp_delatario....But I will admit I'm biased towards VFS....Strongly recommend it...

Ex. check this post by 'aaronwishes' (he still hasn't updated Visa receipt after sending through Bluedart dunno if he has got it back or not, hopefully he has ???)

Strong Suggestion for everyone:

who are willing to deposit their passports for visa stamping.

pls send it through VFS. Do not think of money, you are going to spend. Atleast you know the status of ur passport. Otherwise each day seems to be hell until you recieve the passport.

My friend explained the case for VFS best as below->

VFS is an authorized and suggested partner for Canada Visa. In fact PPR email also ask you to send your passport through them. VFS assumes all the responsibility by bringing back your passport after visa is stamped on it. You can also send it via private courier but I don't recommend it. You are encouraged to read the guidelines given by private courier before signing their forms that they are not held responsible for any loss or damage.

Why would you risk your life for mere and few hundred rupees after spending thousands of rupees on the application and processing.

Hi All,

Received "Decision Made" as an update on ECAS status. Hope it is the positive one. Now the wait for PPR begins.

Hurray !!! Decision Made !!! PPR soon.... yooooooooohoooo !! finally.. after so long some relief.
Did not check ecas from 2 days.. was stuck at work...... very happy to see DM today..

I got my passports stamped with visa today... Cant believe it! It has been a long tough journey. I am happy that I passed through it... Thanks friends for being with me all through this journey!

I have one doubt. On the COPR document, there is a text which says "Not Valid for travel"..What does it mean? That text is a bit disturbing...Please enlighten me with the reason behind it.
