Ticket costs are lowest on Wednesday and Thursday. Try tickets for either of these

True, it's risky....not recommended ....I'd really prefer a Travel Card since I'm used to it...but not getting any such experience of landing....

I haven't seen a single case yet wherein people travelled with travel card loaded with CAD and showed it as POF.

The most important thing is Canadian officials want us to have direct access to cash .

DD- Cannot be cleared in a day it will take time so why they have insisted on it ?

Money order-I don't thinks banks do many orders in this age and I am sure you wont find this

Travellers cheque- You need to sign on each check so if you go to bank and say give me tc they will probably say we have 100 ,500 denominations and now when you want to take 10,000 cad then if you take 500 denominations you have to sign 20 times on 20 checks of 500 denominations . Ensure your signatures are right and when you want to encash you need to sign down again lol.
No wonder why bank have stopped issuing tc's .

Worst thing is if you loose the process can make you stranded without money.

Best thing is to open canadian bank account and transfer your funds and carry some cash in hand and some in travel card.

But if travel card with CAD loaded option was there as POF this would have been a cake walk lol

MR done on 1st march, 3rd line updated between 11-17th march 2015. waiting for ppr. how long it might take as ndvo had processed for ppr's after these dates too....
