Hi,
Praise God!! Got my MR request along with the forms on May 9th evening. Received the mailer from the consultant this morning.
Super Super Happy. Planning to complete the MR this week

BTW - They have requested for Passport Copies + MR + RPRF only (no PCC - this may be because we submitted the PCC as part of the application)

Scotia Bank Application process

Applying online with a follow-up branch visit
is easy and convenient
1. Complete the online application (takes approximately 10 minutes)
a) Provide information about yourself, including your name, address, telephone
number, date of birth, email address and other required information (information
you will need to complete this application).
b) Submit your application.
2. Branch Visit
a) Once you arrive in Canada, please contact the branch that you have selected as
part of your Online Application to setup an appointment to complete the account
opening process. The Account will be frozen until such time as you visit the
branch and you present two pieces of identification.
Note: The account is frozen up to 6 months from the date of application. If a branch
visit is not made within that time period, your account will be closed.
b) As part of your branch visit you will be asked to:
 Provide two pieces of identification,
 Sign a copy of the Application for Deposit Services,
 Provide a copy of the Proof of Enrolment from your post-secondary
institution (if applicable).
3. Account Activation
a) Your new account will be activated once your documentation is completed at the
branch.
4. ScotiaCard Activation
a) Once your new account has been activated, you will also receive a ScotiaCard to
help you manage your banking needs with Scotiabank.
For Joint Applicants
1. This online joint application can only be used for two applicants. To apply for a
joint applicant with more than two applicants, please visit a Scotiabank branch
once you arrive in Canada.
2. For the joint application process, the information for both applicants must be
entered in the same application session. This requires that both applicants be
present at the same computer and to agree to submit the application at the end
of the session.
3. Both applicants are each required to bring two pieces of identification as part of
the follow-up branch visit.

3rd line ( Medical received) updated on 08th April and I am waiting for DM / PPR

By how much days / months does working / staying abroad affect DM/PPR decision . I was working abroad ( Germany) for 2 years (2011-13) and from 2013 working in India . I have submitted all required documents & waiting for my DM / PPR since 08th April

When can I expect DM / PPR ..any time frame can we guess

NOC 2132 .
Application date 10th Sept .
PER ... 17th Dec m
MR / 3rd line update --- 08th April 2015

Let the MR arrive first and it will contain all the info you need.
generally they ask for pcc, RPRF fee, passport copies etc.

I got my visa and Copr letters today but the excitement was not as the day I got PPR as I knew when you get PPR its already has been decided that you have been granted visa .Its just a formality whatever still lot of things to complete .

I wish you all the best for your next processes

For all those people who are waiting for PPR dont waste your time keep luking for tickets,start clearing your stuff back at home,proof of funds and booking accomodation.

Hi, we have submitted our PPs today @ VFS hyd.

We sent the following :

1. Passports (Me and spouse)
2. PPR letter mail print out
3. 2 photos of each :
on 1 : write the photographer address
on 2nd : write your name and DOB
4. Covering letter : sample is given below. Take a print out, sign at the end and attach with your gmail copy and send it.
