Hi,

Is there any format for jewelry evaluation? Is a normal excel print out of the item description along with the weight of the ornament enough? Or would it require the current market value as well.

Does this need to be done by a jeweler?..... as in.... Is a certificate by the jeweler with his seal required?

Hi Friends, with all your guidance, timely help and blessings...We (Karunya vemulapalli and I) got the PPR today

I have following questions :

1. We submitted our PPs thru VFS (Hyd) today
QN : How many days NDVO takes for stamping and when can we get the passports in hand?

2. Funds in CAD to be taken
QN : We are planning to take CAD 5000/- in the form of cash to Canada and an amount of ~ INR 2 lakhs we will keep in India (Andhra Bank) and show the immigrant officer (if asked) the proof of funds we have here.
Is that alright or complete CAD 14500/- needs to be taken to Canada while landing?

Hi Guys,

received MR, RPRF and PCC few days back from Warsaw office. I have one query regarding sending Digitally signed PCC through email. Can i send it? I have got PCC on my email from Delhi online portal and its a PDF version.

Please advise.

I think VO requires original PCC, check your email if its mentioned or not. It was clearly mentioned in my email that they need original PCC. U can also raise CSE to confirm the same with VO if u r lucky enough to get reply of CSE..

PCCs are required to be submitted in Original - Hard Copies.

I got medical request. I have to submit medicals within 30 days along with other documents such as: passport copies

My question is around passport as I want to get the name changed of my wife on her passport. So, first of all, I need to understand if this is the right time to do it providing that I'll get it done within time frame. AND what is the procedure of notifying this change to CIC? I mean I would need to submit copies of both the passports and a letter specifying the change of name (so that they can the name in their records againt her UCI)

AND my passport is going to expire in November, 2015 so I have to apply for a new passport. So, what is the procedure of notifying this change to CIC? I mean I would need to submit copies of both the passports and a letter specifying the change.

Please help.

Yes... and Passports have already been sent to NDVO and received by them on May 8th... But I need them back urgently.. Hence, I am curious how long the wait shall be...

I have done the name change after the medical and sent the soft copy via CSE (Case specific enquiry). You won't get a reply from them and also it will delay the process for couple of days.

Hi, we have submitted our PPs today @ VFS hyd.

We sent the following :

1. Passports (Me and spouse)
2. PPR letter mail print out
3. 2 photos of each :
on 1 : write the photographer address
on 2nd : write your name and DOB
4. Covering letter : sample is given below. Take a print out, sign at the end and attach with your gmail copy and send it.
