NDVO, wake up for god sake :O
Testing patience to its core :-(

You should be getting your PPR soon buddy !!! in the next wave of PPR's

I am just guessing that NDVO is busy in issuing more of students as this is that time for year when they receive loads of student visa's (again, this is my guess)

Hi frnds...
Me and my previous employer got verification calls on 24/04/2015....
When can I expect an update from NDVO???

Hello everyone,

I am facing a unique issue and need your help. My Medicals and all the PCC's were sent to NDVO back in Nov 2014. Since Oct 2014 I have been waiting for my FBI PCC. The issue is with my fingerprints which after 8 sets of fingerprints are not readable by the FBI authorities. So as i understand, the ridges are not clear and hence the system doesn't accept them. This is my 3rd attempt at FBI( Last few sets are currently in process which will take close to 2 more months as of now). Meanwhile, I have gone ahead and taken fingerprints for State PCC, which too were not readable but since NJ State churns out report based on DOB as last resort I am waiting to receive it this week. My plan is to send the State PCC with a request to accept State PCC instead of FBI PCC.

I want to ask forum members if they have any suggestions, heard any such cases if state PCC has been accepted, not accepted, any other way out. I cannot forever wait for fbi pcc which may or may not happen.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Dude,

I'm not too sure about the State PCC, FBI PCC is mandated by the VO. I think you can give it a try.
My suggestion is to get your finger prints scanned by authorized agencies, it willl save your time
Good Luck!!

This is the email i had received.

Dear Applicant,

We have scheduled you to attend the Canadian Immigrant Integration Program (CIIP) session in Hyderabad scheduled for 19 May - 22 May 2015. One seat has been reserved for you so please ensure that you will be present for your session, and kindly arrive early. Please leave young children at home, as childcare facilities are not available.

Please note that the Government of Canada has committed significant resources to deliver the CIIP session comprising of the Group Orientation (GO) and personalized My Action Plan (MAP) sessions. Your failure to attend would result in wastage of Canadian resources and furthermore, deprive others in the waiting queue, an opportunity to participate. We have an extensive waiting list of clients who are eager to participate in our sessions. Therefore, please ensure that you will be present for the CIIP programme, and kindly arrive early. It is mandatory for clients to attend both the GO & MAP sessions of the CIIP programme. Our venue is as follows :-

Important Notes:

1. Group Orientation Session (GO Session) 19 May 2015 : One full day, Start time 8:30am to 5:00pm. Overview of Canada, the current economic situation, overview of Canadian provinces and regions, understanding destination and occupation options, challenges facing newcomers in finding jobs, solutions to those problems, writing a Canadian resume, taking a Canadian interview.

2. My Action Plan Session (MAP Session) – Either on 20,21 or 22 May 2015 for duration of 1 to 1.5 hours. The MAP Session is a personalized one-to-one session with a Canadian trained CIIP Orientation Officer, where you will develop an action plan, and receive direct referrals to Canadian organizations that assist immigrants.
