Any specific post for sending medical, RPRF Receipts?? or normal courier service will do?

Always use a postal method which assures the safe arrival of the documents in the VO, a normal post could get lost, be late, misplaced etc... go for DHL bluedart i always use dhl.

Hi all, need you input please.

My file received: 8-May-2014
PER: 13-Aug-2014
File moved to Cairo VO: 28-Sep-2014
Nothing since then !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered GCMS where it says:
Eligibility assessment 1: Due Date: 2015/08/13
Eligibility assessment 2: Due Date: 2015/07/09

Anything to conclude from this?

Thanks,

A

Send a Case Specific Enquiry about Pregnancy and also about the change of location. Explain in detail, they will provide further instructions. Congratulations in advance for the new addition in your family. Good Luck

Hi All,

Is there a possibilty to send the medical for myself only and sending it later for my wife given the pregnancy stage. Or it has to be procecssed together for both of us.

Hi Experts please help,

I am super upset and am on the verge of writing a nasty email to NDVO.

My timelines are as follows and have no update since Oct 14
Application Recvd - 13th June 2014
PER Recvd - 15th Oct 2014
2nd line - 20th Nov 2014

Got the GCMS it says mis-representation verification - in process.

It will be 6 months now, and I have not heard anything yet. Really pissed.

Need your inputs, if anyone is in the same boat.

Writing a nasty e-mail isn't going to help.

If you have verifications in progress it means just that--they are taking a longer time than usual with your application for whatever reason. If you've done your application properly you have nothing to worry about. If they ask you for more information or for an interview you will know the situation and can respond accordingly.

However long you've waited, there are people who have waited even longer. I have also been impatient throughout the process so I understand the anger. But please don't do anything to endanger your application!

Once your application is in, whether it is taken for processing or returned, you'll be alloted an UCI number which has all your details.
CIC scans the docs and saves it in their database...

This. NEVER put info on an application that contradicts info from an old application. You'll regret it.

I'm not sure they even opened my application. My DD was never charged :-[

Why was it returned, due to cap?

If you find a UCI written on it anywhere, they have a copy. You can also call CIO and ask for your UCI. If you have a UCI, they have a copy.

Dear Friends,

Need a urgent help from my fellow folks... :-X

I have received a PCC request from NDVO office today. I have one question, it will be great if any one can help me out with it.

Q) My application was received by CIC Canada on 1stAugust2014 and i received my PCC certificate on 11thAugust2014 (for Canadian immigration) from the concerned authorities. My questions is can i submit the same certificate (as its 8 months old) to immigration office or will i have to get a new one.

regards,
singh

They are generally valid for up to a year. You should be fine.

Hello Singh..

PCC cannot be more than 3 months old when you are sending it to CIC.. although it is valid for one year from PCC date. You will quickly have to make a fresh PCC and submit that only.. All the best.!

Not true. The PCC cannot be dated more than 3 months before the date of your application. It can be sent any time during its validity period.

I received my PCC just after submitting my application in May 2014. I submitted it in November 2014 and everything was fine.

Hello Friends,

Has anyone updated their surname before MR and updated CHC with latest passport copies? Will it complicate the case with additional documentation etc?

Any info will be of great help.

Thanks
Reshmi

It won't complicate your case but it will make it longer. If you change your surname you will need to provide documentation of the change (court records for example) and possibly new forms. You'd need to explain in a CSE and await instructions.

Its is better to get a new PCC as the vo needs a PCC which is less that six months old. its just a matter of hours to get an Indian PCC so better you get a new one.

Not true. But there is no harm in getting a new one.
