My NOC is 1212 and i am from Punjab, India.

I got mail from NDVO saying that

" In support of your application, you submitted an experience certificate dated June 27, 2014 on the letterhead of XXXXXXXXXX Bank. The certificate states that since July 2011, you have been working as a bank clerks supervisor.

We have determined, through verifications conducted, that there is no such job title/designation in the bank and that you had worked as a scale 1 officer/clerk. On July 1, 2014, you were promoted as manager of XXXXXX branch.

Based on the information available to me, I have reasonable grounds to believe that the experience certificate provided by you is not genuine"

I didn't state in my experience letter that I am a bank clerk supervisor. It says that I joined as scale 1 and have been working as a bank clerks supervisor. The designation is scale 1.


I have to give them an explanation in 30 days. What should I do now??

Need your help...my daughter's passport will expire on 10th May 2016..
My present position is Medical received by colombo VO dt 8/4/2015. I came to know that 1 year validation is must for passport @ time of stamping VIsa.
Pls, let me know..
1. if i need to renew her passport ?
2. If so, do i need to send the copies of front page-last page and other 2 pages of PP to visa office.
3. Even if I take PP under TATKAL and in the mean time,, visa office forward PPR ...how to tackle the situation..pls help.

Immidiately apply for tatkal passport. if you receive ppr then they will give you the time of 1month and if you still will not able to renew passport . u can raise CSE and request them to extend time to Submit passport

I had applied for PR on May 15 and my second line got updated in October end...since then I haven't heard or received any communication from them..I got suggestion on raising CSE or GCMS notes from this forum only and I am planning to go for CSE but I am not sure on the response for it...

Has anyone raised CSE earlier and got positive or quicker response due to it....can people who have sent this enquiry please share their experience so that I can decided whether to go for it or just wait....

These funds could be in the form of:

If you have a bank statement of a Canadian bank, then it may be accepted.

Yes go for a CSE, mention in the subject your UCI number and state as URGENT query, you will get a response with in two days hopefully...

Dear Amzz..just i have one doubt regarding the same topic..even my third line is medicals received..so wanted to know now will they carry out background check, reference check etc or it must be already done? And moreover do they carry out checks for all or only to suspicious cases?

I have a small query and wondering if anyone has gone thru that..

My brother is a PR holder in Canada FSW2013, my process is thru too in FSW2014..

Simultaneously I have applied for my father's tourist visa, that is thru last week only..

Now I wanted to get the VISA for my grandmother and in dilemma to apply for Tourist/Super Visa..

In tourist Visa I cannot show her source of income and I think it is very much required in that but Super Visa not mandatory though but with regard to her age Insurance will be way too high..

Can anyone pls help me with the query??

AoA every one, With God's grace I finally got my 2nd line update and it states as:

Dear Fahad007.. congrats on your 2nd line update and wish you a speedy processing +1 to you

We started processing your application on 10th April 2015.

Now I have few questions for seniors and experienced,

1. what does 2nd line update means? Does this mean that verification process has been completed?

second Line updation means, VO has assigned some case officer to deal with your case file and they have started working on ur file and all the related checks will be initiated, like Background checks and Documentations checks. if every thing is fine then your MR will be issued.

2. How many days it will take to get MR after 2nd line update?
we cant tell or predict how much time it will take for some one to get MR after SL update, coz there are cases who got MR immediately next day after 2nd line update, some got before and some are still waiting for more than 60 days. So be happy and wait for your turn, s we can assume that it may be around 10 days to 60 days.

3. Until now, I have not maintained my bank statement, but i came to know that LVO is requiring 3-6 months bank statement. What can I do now in this matter? Is this ok if i start maintaining my bank balance now?

POF statement is not an issue, there should be the set amount in your account at the time of you submission of POF and it has it has to be maintained futher.

Please detailed expert advise needed regarding this....Really appreciate...

Also my agent has asked me for 5000 rupees to send a request/letter for detailed report on the status and he sed, I would get the update in 30 to 40 days....is this the same thing he must be talking bout??

Can you please further clarify your last answer regarding bank statement. Because I have submitted POF with my application but not maintained balance afterwards. But if required I can submit proof of current balance again. Will this be enough?

Hi All, PLZZZ GUIDE I AM CONFUSED...i submitted my application in Sept 2014, original VO ND shifted to CO. I did my medicals.RPRF,PCC and submitted on 31st March 2015. Till last week my ECAS site used to shoe only 2 line:

1.) We received your application for permanent residence on September 23, 2014.
2.) Medical results have been received.

But today when i check it has changes to:

1.)We received your application for permanent residence on September 23, 2014.
2.)We started processing your application on April 15, 2015.
3.)Medical results have been received.

All of a sudden third line appeared!! I am confused what is this line for? It means they started processing my application now? Now what will be the next step? How much time will it take for further? If they started processing now then how did i get my medical request? as earlier it was showing medicals received!!

Dear SVB2411, it is not an issue, you've done your medicals and your medicals were received means this is something to be felt happy, previously there might be some system mistake that 2nd line is not updated, but as far as not it is sowing all the three lines its a good sign and a very good news.

There is no -ve response/ +ve response...There is no response to CSE from NDVO asking for status update... ..In fact once u raise CSE u will get an auto-reply saying they will not respond to queries asking for status if the File is within Normal processing timelines (which for NDVO is 24 months see here->

So raise a CSE if u wish but do not expect to get a reply..I'd advise applying for GCMS Notes instead..

5000 rupees ..ur Consultant is looting u...Yes he is talking abt GCMS Notes...it costs CAD 5 in case u have a relative in Canada and CAD 25-30 in case u don't have a relative in Canada and want to apply through a 3rd party website...

Hi Buddy,

GCMS = Global Case Management System.
It's the interface used by Canada immigration to track and record a file processing electronically.
Each stage, file movement, comment of the officer and the decisions taken at each step get recorded in it.

We as applicants can ask for GCMS extracts to understand what's happening with out file. The request takes 30 days to be fulfilled and the extract is until the 1st day of the request made.
