Guys,

I'm Sep 10th Applicant, PER date is Dec 29th....

But still no Second Line Update in my ECAS.

Raised GCMS last month and got the report .

In that, the assessment status shows "In Process". But the Eligibility, Medical, Criminal Checkings are mentioned as "Not Started".

More over in the basic eligibility check from CIC, they didn't considered my Six Years Experience out of 8 years Experience. Considered only 2 years and given points for that only. Anyhow, the total points they had given is 69.


Now guys, please suggest when can get Second line update.. because many Sep, Oct and even Nov later dated applicants got SL update + Medical request too...

Really agonized now, don't know what to do...

As per the GCMS notes, looks like your file is not yet assigned to any Officer. You may soon receive a second line update.

I received it after 90 + days. Do not lose hope.

Is it compulsary to attend CIIP? Though I know its very informative, if only me or my spouse can attend, will that be allowed?

It is not a mandate but a good to know about Canada session.

Primary Applicant along with the dependents who have received medicals can attend it

If you are asking whether one of you can attend - yes you can attend. They will send out a confirmation email. confirm the number of seats.

Whoever is attending has to be there for 2 days

I would like to add my daughter in the application and for which I have collected every document that I had asked by NDVO.

3 Questions:

1. Do I need to include the payment form ( the one which we submitted initially, adding 1 X $150 ) too, as it wasn't mentioned in the mail by NDVO

2. Can I pay by debit card ?

3. If I want to pay by DD, whom should it says to deliver ? Reciever General of Canada ?

I think you should concentrate more on the notes section of your GCMS notes. Your case note,the latest one will give an idea of the status of your application as well as give an hint if there re concerns regarding your application.

What does your notes section says?

Restricted - No
Office - New Delhi
Text - **File not RFV pending Singapore PCC - called n spoke to pa's wife and she confirmed Singapore authorities will send the PCC to us directly. File paed.

We are in the same boat buddy...may 8th applicant with no PPR/DM yet...i too asked same things from all forum friends if i am out of race...my gcms notes as of feb 25 also said no security and criminality started...no idea what the NDVO is upto

I am 7th May, 3rd line 13th Oct. GCMS says Criminality & Security not started. Fed of waiting now.. :-[ :-[
