Guys, My journey of getting a Canadian PR ends here. I got my passport back in mail with the maple stamp today. :D 8) :D 8) :D 8) :D 8) :D 8) :D 8) :D 8) :D

Thanks a ton to all the support I got from this forum. I can say with confidence that I wouldn't have gotten my PR without the support from this forum and people like Diplo and many others. This forum's worth a million times more than any consulting company!

I'll be applying for my brother later this year through the Express Entry system. I'll be here sharing that experience as well.

I got lazy and wrote it by hand.
You can always replicate the format in excel and fill in the details and take a print. That works too.

Thanks!! They have also requested for two recent photos!!! How recent they havn't specified !!! Can I send the same photos I sent with my initial application??

1) No. Visa doesnt. COPR, one out of the 2 sets has a photo.
2) Yes. The COPR with the photo is what the officer will keep for you PR application processing.
3) Doubt it. But honestly not sure. Will let the likes of Diplo or Goku answer this one.

Thanks my friend, you've been always there for me :D +1 for you as always

Congrats on your Meds.

To your doubts -
1) RPRF is not to be paid for kids. Hence only for you and your wife.
2) Med emails are received for each applicant seperately and VO advises a 48 hr wait before your reach out to them. So give it time till tomorrow EOD.
3) When submitting all docs, mention on a covering letter the delay regarding FBI PCC. VO will give you the required time. For India, One nation one PCC is how it is. So dont send it from all states. Send the one which is most recent and that's it.
4) Send copy of old passport bio pages where the cancelled stamp is there and also the new passport. In the covering letter mention thsi change too.
5) MR in Delhi, I suggest Max Panchsheel. Google to get their contact and book and appointment. No doc in specific.
6) Yes, assume interview is waived off. That 99.99% the case.

Dear All,

I received MR + RPRF + PCC from High Commission of Canada from Colombo today in two different mails (One for MR and another one for RPRF + PCC) . Can you please help me for few queries on this.

1. I am having a kid of 3 Years but in mail it is not mentioned to pay the RPRF for my kid while mine and spouse names are mentioned to pay RPRF. Shall I pay RPRF for my kid as well.

2. For MR, I have received only one attachment for IMM1017 form (Only for my kid). Do I need to send a mail to CIC to get the PDF for me and my spouse?

3. My spouse traveled to US and stayed there for more than six months. So as per mail I need to provide PCC from INDIA and US for my spouse. I have already made a request in Jan for PCC from FBI. But I could not receive the PCC yet from FBI. I am having PCC from respective states. Will that work? As per mail "Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate."

2. My passport has been renewed recently. Shall I send the copy of new passport at this point of time?

3. Do I need to include any cover letter to while sending these documents?

4. For MR in Delhi, please suggest a Dr. Name from Panel list for faster processing?

5. Shall I assume interview has been waived off?

Thanks in advance

Congrats Sundeep and all the best with you life ahead.

Get a fresh set clicked.

Usually it's 0-90 days old only. Else they anyways had the earlier send pics, they wouldnt have come back asking for it again if they could have used it.

3) COPR with photo which IO will take away at the time of landing is your application for PR Card, and yes the photo on COPR will be on PR card. You cannot change photo on COPR at POE. +1 rvp

Hey guys,

Not received my passport from VAC yet. Have some questions,

1- Does the immigration visa has our photo on it?
2- Will the photos which we gave to VAC with our passports be used on PR card after we land?
3- If the answer to the above question is yes, can we change our photo at POE?

Thanks

Med emails are received
Can they send med forms by paper mail? Or they use only email now? I'm worried that paper med forms can be lost in mail...

Thank you Ananjay, My Marriage is on 29th of April,

Reason for asking whether I need to inform CIC about my marriage right away or after the marriage is that I see a note in one of the email as “If you have, or anticipate having, a change in family composition (for example, marriage, divorce or expecting a child) you need to advise the visa office as soon as possible of this change.”

Thank for giving me the list of docs that are required....

I am submitting a PCC which I received from Hyderabad PSK, however I lived in Bangalore for about 2 years, please let me know whether I need to submit a PCC from Bangalore as well?
Yes you can intimate them about your marriage before marriage...

Nd one pcc represents one country..place/state doesn't matter..
