Your courier POD is all that you can check to see that the docs were received at VO.
They will not acknowledge it that its been updated hence you have to assume.
If there are any docs missing, the come back asking for them so , in this case, no news is good news.

accounted the receipts and documents against my name . I have written my UCI on payment receipt as well as Covering letter .

Do i need to send Email also .

As rvp mentioned above, obtain Soft Copy of your Courier POD.....showing record of delivery at CHC New Delhi with Stamp...No u don't need to send email...

Hi sk, can you please confirm me one thing ... when I registered for CIIP last week.. I dint have any date to select for CIIP session ... how come you guys have selected a date for ur ciip session.. is there some link to check this .. is ther something wrong i did while registering .. i havnt got a single mail from CIIP after registering till now .. not even a welcome mail ..

Also, while registering for CIIP I have attached introductory CIIP brochure which u get along with MR mail(the first attachment)...its fine rite ..

We got a Welcome mail with Upcoming Session dates...And we replied again with some details asking them to book a slot and they replied saying slot had been booked.....

Ur supposed to attach the original Medical Request Letter containing your UCI (pdf) from the VO/ PPR Letter....How can the CIIP Introductory Brochure serve as proof that you applied for Canada PR?? I imagine the brochure is available in the CIIP Site itself....

Alhamdulilah !!! Got the fourth line update on my ECAS


"A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision"


But in this case Visa office has already contacted me before update and I have submitted the Passports for Visa stamping. Thanks every one to support and help !!!

You all are great people and I learn a lot through this forum. When I will land in Canada definitely I will share my experience good and bad with you all guys and expect the same

Hey don't worry...you will clear your criminality check and get the MR shortly. If you have been treated and medicines given then you don't have to worry. If the medical officer asks then you can mention about the surgery and the time when it was done. I doubt if they will ask it. So go with confidence

How long should your passport be valid before you first arrival (landing) ?

Many countries has specific regulations concerning this matter, differing in minimum validity of the passport (some 3 months, some 6 months,ect.). But what is Canada law for immigrants passport validity at the time of landing? (regardless of your visa expiry date)

Most Airlines don't allow you to travel if your passport is less than 6 months valid
