i also checked up further on the prices and they look similar to makemytrip pricing. So i think you will be better of with makemytrip / cleartrip or any other services which some of the seniors may have successfully tried out. Cheers

You need to send courier. Did you also check if the VO has asked for any other documents like passport bio pages, medicals acknowledgment etc

just was wondering .. the 1st time i land will just be for a short time may be 3 weeks/ 1 month
do i still need to show a Proof of funds of 14000 for my husband and me?

or can i tell them at the port of entry that i have a return ticket and so dont need that amount of funds?

No..during the landing (1st time) you need to show the full PoF applicable for you & your husband. If they find you don't have sufficient funds then they can stop you.

Process After Passport submission @ VO

I guess after submitting the passports at VO, they just wait for their turn to be Visa stamped as all the procedure
has already been completed before PPR.

Anyone want to add on this...???
