I submitted my passport on 2nd March with VFS, New Delhi and still waiting. So, it's been 37 days now. I have raised CSE, send emails to NDVO and checked with VFS as well. Nothing happening.

Oh!! Have you thought about visiting CIC?

Have visited Embassy twice personally. They don't tell you anything and don't let you go in.

Okay. Well, I read somewhere that they can keep your passport for up to 4 months! However, is there anything that you require your passport urgently for?

I have already resigned and not working anymore. So, want to go there ASAP and start working.

Goshhh this scares me... I hope we will not have to wait till 4 months to get our passports back....

There is not even one single person in this entire forum apart from me and singh2014 who has been waiting for so long. Maximum it has taken 20 days. So, how can they keep the passports for 4 months?

I got my medicals done (and the 3rd line update) on the same date(s) too! Have you paid your RPRF? I paid it online on the 16th of March. Hoping to hear from LVO within a couple of weeks. Hopefully, you'll hear from NDVO this week.

Yes I paid RPRF on 9th March...I'm eagerly waiting for DM/PPR too :-)

Hi all,

I am planning to travel to Ottawa on May 27. Majority of my searches yield planes routing from Toronto only.

Where should I complete my landing formalities? In Toronto or Ottawa??

Congrats buddy.... I guess there are some options from Mumbai that can go ottawa directly. I guess you might have already seen it... But sharing the info... Just in case...

Hello experts and everyone else,
I am a December 2014 applicant under NOC 2132 from New Delhi. I chose the mode of payment as a DD which is still not cashed. The validity of the DD is until 26th of April 2015 ( 6 months from the date of issue). I have been waiting patiently but recently read a few posts mentioning that the CAP for 2132 was filled way before December which has got me a bit confused ???!!!.
I had started preparing for my application in October after seeing the CAP status online on the official CIC website. Till December the CAP was not met as far as I remember. I am now wondering whether I should've applied at all if the CAP was met in October itself( as per the posts I read ).
Kindly advise with some information worth sharing regarding my issue!!!
Best regards.
Vivek

I've realized most of the engineering-related NOC's were filled before December. I'm not sure about 2132. Did you check the CAP after your file was delivered or signed for, based on your mail tracking?

I've seen some members suggest the following phone for inquiries by those who do not have a file number:

+1 613 944 4000

Try asking about your file through your name on that number.

If there was no luck, you're just gonna have to wait for either receiving your file back due to filled cap, or receiving your PER.

By the way, does anyone know if the CAP's sheet still exists? I cannot find it on the official website, but is there a place where we can find the latest one that was published by the official website?

Yes, PPR on 27th Feb and DM on 28th Feb.
