Dear Palak, Diplomatru & Other Seniors.....

I was just reading the posts in other Forums and there has been different opinions that the Background & Criminality checks are done before or after 2nd line update....Please shower some light on this.......My 2nd line already got updated and awaiting MR......So my background/Criminal check is over...How much time for MR.....

This is my 300th Post and hope with this Post you will clarify my n other members doubts... ;)

Cheers......

Reciprocated dear Palak and Ratan.

In regards to your question,
Second line = eligibility check entailing selection decision pursuant to MI. If case is well-documented IPA is encouraged to pass decision w/o further verification. If there are black areas or random quality assurance - employer or/and educational institution will be requested to shed light on the case. If positive reaction follows - eligibility is marked as passed and meds are issued.
Only at this time some or all other assessments are put in process.

Hi Guys, need some expert advice:)
I'm sure this has been asked before but i'm not able to find the answer....How's the prospect of getting visa post medical request (MR)??

Question for those whose Visa Office is CPP-Ottawa:

- I need to mail in my PCC. I'm based in the US and the FBI PCC took over 3 months. I have it now. Application received October 16th, PCC received November 20th 2014. I got my AOR just over 2 weeks ago and now need to mail in the PCC. What address should I mail it to?

Correspondence to date seems to be from Sydney (AOR and MR). Thoughts ? Thanks

I'm a provincial nominee not federal. My timeline is my signature if that helps with answering question

Thanks Diplomatru for clarification.....

In simple words.....2nd line update means that the file is allocated to the Visa officer and s/he started working on the case. If the file is well documented and there is no black areas the VO officer takes the call for passing/initiating verification. When all the eligibility becomes passed they issue Medical Request...

In short.....Background Check and Criminality check is done between 2nd line update & MR.....

Please correct me if I am wrong.......

Thanks once again.......

Hello Friends...

I have got medicals done at FORTIS Hospital, Bangalore. They said that they will be sending the reports directly to embassy. Is it so?
Because, I found that in the forum some members were discussing about findings in their medical reports.

If really they will send reports directly, then what should I send to Visa Officer/Embassy... The hospital stamped the Medical Form that CIC has sent me through email.
Do I need to send that form to Visa Officer in original.
Should I send the Medical Test Bill also...

Pls guide.

May GOD bless all with all the best things of this world...

Hi,

Does 3 month old child needs Medical checkup? Few days back NDVO has send MR request for me and spouse.

My kids documents were mailed to NDVO last month.
Yes. Meds r to be done for everyone. I received meds request for my 10 month old son. I believe as you have sent the docs as an addendum, you will receive your child's med request later.

Dear Munish,

Hospitals will directly send the reports to the Visa Office.

Yes, you have to send the hospital stamped Medical Forms along with the copy of the bills to the VO......Don't worry you are doing absolutely fine....

Cheers and Best of Luck....

The picture you posted previously have different sequence of events:

1st - Eligibility
2nd - Security
3rd - HIRV: God knows what is it?
4th - Criminality
5th - Org Crime
6th - Medicals
7th - Misrepresentations
8th - Other Requests
9th - Final Decision

From above I concluded that Before Medicals Background/Criminality check is done.

Anyone who got the GCMS notes after Medical may provide more clarity as it shows step by step progress on file....

Cheers......
