As per your timeline everything seems smooth ... I dont think you required GCMS but its up to you.

If you have not misrepresent anything then you may see good news soon.
brother no PPR for me yet :( any idea why is it taking so long after giving DM :( can i still expect it today or should i keep waiting for it desperately for next week :(

I have a feeling that people who have not got the 'dispatch' status for their VFS tracking IDs, will not get their passports until 7th April for sure. 3rd and 6th are holidays at NDVO. :|

Don't worry bro, Your PPR is on its way. :) I know this wait can be tiresome as well as stressful but believe me it will be very fruitful at the end :)

Dear seniors
I need your help. I have been promoted at my work and now my designation is also changed. In addition, my responsibilities have also changed and does not totally reflects the NOC in which I applied. However, I have more than 2 years of experience for working under the NOC in which I applied. I wanted to inquire that do I need to notify this change and will it impact on my application in any ways. Please guide

Don't panic...

Once you have DM its over.... Definitely you will receive PPR anytime within 1-15 days.. if you are using consultant email , keep poking him as sometimes it was observed before that they people don't forward email to your mailbox. If you are using ur own email, Please also check your spam and thrash folder..

Hi Guys

Has anyone heard abt this rumor/news tht Canada is considering to change the "Minimum stay in Canada rule" for Permanent Residents. Till now, the rule is tht PR holders need to stay in canada for minimum 2 years out of any 5 year window to be able to renew their PR Card after 5 yrs. But with new rule, we'll have to stay there for min 4 yrs out of any 5year window.

One of my friends in Canada (Permanent resident since last 2.5yrs) has told me this. I cud not find anything like tht on Google or cic website or cicnews.com. But, somehow he is quite certain and has asked me to check on Forum.

So...if anyone knows abt it.....please enlighten us all .... :)

Unfortunately it is.

You will get it this week. I had my DM done on 20-Mar and my PPR mail came only yesterday. So just keep checking your mail (incl spam/trash folders). If you have a consultant then just keep checking with them. Several folks got PPR in the last 2 days, so NDVO is clearing backlogs.
Don't worry...its just a matter of time

You are right and for once the ones who sent their package through courier wil benefit, as India post is working on both the dates.
