You will get it this week. I had my DM done on 20-Mar and my PPR mail came only yesterday. So just keep checking your mail (incl spam/trash folders). If you have a consultant then just keep checking with them. Several folks got PPR in the last 2 days, so NDVO is clearing backlogs.

thanks alot brother for a positive reply....the mail will come in my personal email id and i am constantly checking all the folders repeatatively....i am afraid its a long 4 days holiday from tomoro so if not today then i can hope it on tuesday

Don't panic...

Once you have DM its over.... Definitely you will receive PPR anytime within 1-15 days.. if you are using consultant email , keep poking him as sometimes it was observed before that they people don't forward email to your mailbox. If you are using ur own email, Please also your spam and thrash folder..

Its called Bill C-24.
Still hasnt been given the final not but it is WIP.

Google it to read through the suggested bill.

But rajneesh is talking about maintaining PR status (renewal of pr card)...That condition hasn't been changed right?

I have question with regards my wife application. She applied FSW 2014 NOC 1111 we received the file number last year December 16,2014 draft check en cashed on November 25,2014. If I will check online the file number status" In Process" click the in process ( We received your application for permanent residence on September 05,2014)My question is what timeline I will start counting on our application. On the month of September as per the client application status website or PER month received on the December 16 2014. Additional information the application was sent July 30, 2014 and received in Halifax August 07,2014.

Please help us answer my inquiry

Not clear with the question...You have received PER mail in the month of Dec and are waiting for MR. How long will it take is the question?

Hi Guys

Has anyone heard abt this rumor/news tht Canada is considering to change the "Minimum stay in Canada rule" for Permanent Residents. Till now, the rule is tht PR holders need to stay in canada for minimum 2 years out of any 5 year window to be able to renew their PR Card after 5 yrs. But with new rule, we'll have to stay there for min 4 yrs out of any 5year window.

One of my friends in Canada (Permanent resident since last 2.5yrs) has told me this. I cud not find anything like tht on Google or cic website or cicnews.com. But, somehow he is quite certain and has asked me to check on Forum.

So...if anyone knows abt it.....please enlighten us all ....

They have tabled a bill in February 2014 to Change this but it is not yet approved.So for now it is still 2years out of 5.

Yes, you are right, these are amends for getting Citizenship.
No changes to retaining PR.

Its hard to believe that since some guys who had applied along with me received their passports stamped
furthermore August batch have started getting DM which makes it more worse.
Not that I have anything bad against the new batch its just that lot of people are already waiting to long.
I am sure they had worked hard too to submit their apps. Its just very unprofessional I would say as candidates are left hanging on to hopes.
Its not a good stepping stone for better things to come

Could not have said it better. Perfect. i am also seeing many May / June applicants who are yet to receive MR / DM / PPR. And already august applicants are receiving PPR. Everyone has worked very hard to submit their apps and surely there should some sort of procedure to follow. What we are looking at here is some haphazard way for doing everything. Hope things straighten out soon as it does create butterflies in your stomach when you see people later than getting their PPR's. You start thinking about what could have been wrong with your app ;-)

once you have got DM you will definitely get PPR...now I agree it's getting a little delayed...but you have to stay calm and not panic..it will come no matter what...if not today then 4 days from today/ sometime next week...You have waited 9 months bro, have patience for a few more days...

Honest advice...try to disengage from all this temporarily...Chill out with ur friends and family, focus on work, do anything else possible...Before you know it, time will pass and you will have got PPR Mail in your inbox...All the best!!!

Is there any deadline for VO, when to complete the FSW 2014 applications????
