Guys .. good news

I got an email from VFS

"We would like to inform you that your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, on 31 Mar 2015 to the Canada Visa Application Centre."

So my PP is dispatched and I am expecting another change in status by tomorrow which is "ready to collect"

I have submitted PP at VFS Hyderabad on 16-Mar. I didnt opt for Bluedart courier / SMS service.

I have also booked my tickets to Toronto for 27-Jun. British Airways. Hyderabad to London to Toronto (1 stop). It cost me around 41K. I booked through Kayak website which directed me to EBookers site. Payment is in Pounds and I have also verified the ticket I booked in British Airways site and its good booking.

Per me, VO can be wrong on some occasions but usually they have a sound logic for such things.
Would advise that your families goes ahead and completes the meds as advised.
It will dent you by 300 but consider this as their routine annual check up and get over with it.
Don't wait.
Reason, I suppose travel plans are already in place for your family. If you have to get flights rescheduled you make end up paying the same cost as your meds.
Might as well get the meds done, take the acknowledgement from eClinic and post 3-4 days, ask your wife to try walking in to NDVO with the passport, COPR, Med acknowledgment and Airline tickets.
She could speak to your VO and try getting the new Visa same day so that the travel plans don't change.

Thanks for your response. As far as I remember, it was done on 22nd April 2014 ( dont have the exact date mentioned on my medical somehow) ...therefore it should ideally expire on 22nd April 2015...nonetheless as far as I understand are u suggesting me to go for the medical again or wait till they reply i.e ignoring their deadline of 7 days?
