THE PREGNANT DEER - such a beautiful story !

In a forest, a pregnant deer is about to give birth.
She finds a remote grass field near a strong-flowing river.
This seems a safe place.
Suddenly labour pains begin.

At the same moment, dark clouds gather around above & lightning starts a forest fire.
She looks to her left & sees a hunter with his bow extended pointing at her.
To her right, she spots a hungry lion approaching her.

What can the pregnant deer do?
She is in labour!

What will happen?
Will the deer survive?
Will she give birth to a fawn?
Will the fawn survive?
Or will everything be burnt by the forest fire?
Will she perish to the hunters' arrow?
Will she die a horrible death at the hands of the hungry lion approaching her?

She is constrained by the fire on the one side & the flowing river on the other & boxed in by her natural predators.

What does she do?
She focuses on giving birth to a new life.

The sequence of events that follows are:

- Lightning strikes & blinds the hunter.
- He releases the arrow which zips past the deer & strikes the hungry lion.
- It starts to rain heavily, & the forest fire is slowly doused by the rain.
- The deer gives birth to a healthy fawn.

In our life too, there are moments of choice when we are confronted on αll sides with negative thoughts and possibilities.

Some thoughts are so powerful that they overcome us & overwhelm us.

Maybe we can learn from the deer.
The priority of the deer, in that given moment, was simply to give birth to a baby.

The rest was not in her hands & any action or reaction that changed her focus would have likely resulted in death or disaster.

Ask yourself,
Where is your focus?
Where is your faith and hope?

In the midst of any storm, do keep faith on creator always. He will never ever dissapoint you. NEVER.

Remember, He neither slumbers nor sleeps...
One of the best I hav read....

SO NEVER LOSE YOUR HOPE... EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR THE GOOD.

Thank you for sharing!! Its a beautiful story!! And we can learn a lot from it!!!

Hi forumites! Seniors Diplomatru, Goku, Canol, Deltario and everyone that could share some light!

I have been following this forum for a while and it has been of great help! I would like to thank everybody for finding the time to help each other!

I need some advise on my app. I decided to apply for the program on november 2014 and manage to send my app and thank God it reached CIC on the 24 dec. I got PER on march 22. Since I was running with everything and wasnt familiar with the process I now realize I made some mistakes and would love to hear your suggestions on how to make it right.
I was on a study permit during 2011-2014 in Spain while I was studying a master and couldnt work in my field. However I had my Psychologist degree validated in Spain by the Education Ministry, but havent registered in the school of psychologist yet because its a lot of money. I was waiting to find a job and register. Do you think I should register now? I am a registered psychologist in my home country

I got my permanent resident card for spain on sep 2014

I made a mistake while completing the background declaration form. I stated I was unemployed because Im not working on my field or in a company, and now it is clear that I should have. I had been working for 2 months at the time of the application. im working as an english tutor with 2 kids at their home but I have social security and a contract made by the parents. How should I notify CIC about this mistake?

And the last question is about my master: I declared the 3 years of my master. My master included a practical part not sure if I can call it an internship, but I worked during a year and a half in an university hospital under supervision for free to be able to have cases to discuss in my classes. Now the question is: Should I have declared it separate? or is fine just to have declared the master. Also in my Linked in I have the period I spent working on the hospital and wrote it as an internship for the master and now dont know if its ok?

Please share your thoughts on how I can comunicate this info to my VO. Im awaiting my AOR from Paris.

Still waiting for my passport to be returned. I had submitted it in vfs mumbai on 16 march. How long it will take?

correct me if I'm wrong seniors...the email you got was the PER. When you click on "In Process" you probably see one line "we have received your application on ...." after a month or two (I think two is more probable) you may see a second line (we have started processing your application" which is good news and normally after a month from the second line you will receive MR via email and maybe updates on your documents (PCC or other things depending on your VO). so you do the medical tests and around 10 ten days or even more of sending the medical results (done by your doctor) you will see a third line "medical results have been received" now you should wait for PPR. of course somewhere between the MR and PPR your should pay your RPRF! you can always look at the left of forum members to see their timeline and compare!
good luck

yes you are almost right. Rprf mostly comes along with mr, though not necessarily

Just asking out of curiousity...where is ashif_eee? Have you retired after visa stamping? :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
NDVO guys are very lucky...Accra Visa Office is still working on May/June applicants

a well deserved retirement if at all he has.
He has worked quite hard on the original thread and helped us gather a lot of info and prepare ourselves better for Canada.

Is there a clause attached to FSW2014 about the place of living?
I heard that the place mentioned in the application is where you need to land and work for the first 2 years but did not find any such information on the website?

In the form IMM0008ENU_2D in Question 6, they ask us :

Where do you intend to live in Canada?
From the list select the:
a. Province/Territory
b. City/Town

During my initial research I answered one thing but now if I wish to change the place, will I need to go through CIC or can I just land and work wherever I want to?

Latest is - I received PER on 15th March & awaiting AOR.

Hi Everyone,

I got my FBI PCC and it states that "A search of the fingerprints provided by this individual has revealed no prior arrest data at the FBI. This does not preclude further criminal history at the state or local level"

Is this normal wording of the FBI PCC ?

this is perfectly fine as per recently changed wordings
