Subash,

You can address the DD to The Receiver General for Canada. The currency can be Indian rupees. Generally the draft is valid all over India and unless specifically mentioned not to pay at Delhi, not mentioning "Payable at Delhi" will not do any bad. The bank from where you make the DD can clarify you on this. In kathmandu, Standard Chartered, Nepal Investment bank and few other commercial bank also do the DD works.

2 are medical request for me and my spouse and 1 for PCC and RPRF. Will update my timeline soon in spreadsheet but for quick ref here is same.

Have quick question regarding same. If someone can please help me clarify it would be great.

1) Email indicates I have to submit "PCC from all country/state where I have stayed more than 6 months" after age 18.

I have stayed in more than 2 states in India (Gujarat and Bangalore) do I need to submit PCC from both states or either of states is fine?

2) RPRF, Can my friend pay my fees from Canada and still I can submit proof of same here?

3) If my spouse is with me since 9 months in Bangalore but for PCC they (local authority) are asking for min 1 year stay in State. What should I do in case if I have to submit PCC from both states?

4) Can we do Medical from either of states? If yes does anyone know hospital which supports eMedical in Bangalore?

3. Pcc from any one state is fine. Both not required
4. Medicals can be done anywhere with panel physician. Check with hospital directly to see whether they are e-enabled.

It was good and memorable experience considering the grueling and anxious time of the from the time of filing the application to securing the visa.The immigration procedure was extremely well organised and courteously carried out by the Canadian Authorities.

I recently got my VISA.

However there are some questions that i like to raise:
1) I have placed the intented destination as Alberta ,Edmonton and The COPR also states the same. However with the current recession in alberta, I am changing my mind and would like to go either to vancouver and toronto now. Can this be done and is it legal. Do i need to inform ndvo about this change ?
2) I know that i would be at ease if i take money as much as possible, however what is the minimum that i need to take along with me for total 3 persons. how to take money (can demanddraft in my name itself be taken?)
3) What is the right time to go there , I am thinking of going around june/july so that i escape the sudden cold and the same time have some time to acclimatize and job search in summer will be easier. However i might not have time to equip myself the best. Do i equip myself the best by getting trainings certifications from here even if it takes a couple of months more and will near winter?

1. You can land in Toronto or Van. No issues. The pr card though might have to be sent at an Alberta address.
2. Take the stipulated amount for three person in any form in cad.
3. Upto June July. This is the right time to go. You can get certifications done in Canada while simultaneously looking for jobs.

My query is Regarding MR.

My VO is NDVO. However, I will be getting my MR from Senegal. While speaking tothe panel doctors they advised that they will be sending the reports by courier as there is no E-medical centre in Senegal. But he mentioned that the reports will be sent to London. I am worried now that my visa office is NDVO then why they will be sending it to London.

Please advise that the MR forms that will be sent by NDVO will have the address n process of sending the medical reports to NDVO.....Please clarify this as this is really bothering a lot.....

After a journey of 280 days did i got hold of my passport with beautiful visa stamped. Support from this forum is really great and I would like to thank all members for the help and contributions. Now the new journey lies ahead with so many uncertainties but expecting best in days to come.

My stats are as below :

1) File received by CIC - 20 June 2014
2) PER - 20 Oct 2014
3) MR - 11 Dec 2014
4) MR done - 01 Jan 2015
5) PPR - 28 Feb 2015
6) PP received back - 26 March 2015

Admin pls do the needful of having the ss updated as i could not do it even though i tried.

My Experiences :

- Go through the informations provided by CIC and it is more than what a "Consultant" could provide. You will eventually get hold of
updated documents and save huge buck.
- Do not spend time waiting, just act on it.
- Prepare all supporting documents before hand but check check and check before sending final documents.
- Send only those documents requested and instructed by CIC and dont send originals until and unless asked.
- Documents required keeps changing, so keep track on it.
- Have patient and getting impatient will not improve situation.
