Dear Friends....

With GOD grace, I got PPR Yesterday. My timelines are as below:

App Filed - 11 Aug'2014
Processing Started - 2nd Dec'2014
MR - 2nd March
MR and PCC sent - 2nd April
PPR Received - 15 May

Please suggest me for the following situation:

I was planned to go to Europe on 24th May for 3 months on official tour. Now in PPR, CIC mentioned that passport should be received within 30 days. I am from Bangalore and processing at New Delhi VO. Now, I am stuck; what should I do?

- Should I send a letter to VO that I am gng abroad for official work and will send my PP for Visa stamping after return. And then I send my passport in August to them.

- Should I delay my official tour by giving some personal reason and send my Passport for stamping through VFS. Please suggest, what is the average time of visa stamping from New Delhi VO after PPR. And what is the maximum time?

Please guide; I am now stucked after reaching at this stage.

Thank you so much for this information Sreeram. I understand that I should settle my payment issue but its about 60K - 70K thats why I am concerned...also you mention about cancelling the representative and filling up few forms. But in my case, we did not mention anywhere about any representative or consultant. Its just that he has created one fake email ID in my name, kept the password with him and using that for all the communication. VO is not aware that I hired someone for my process. Sorry if you already got that point but thought of clearing. So in this case also, like just changing my ID will get me into all this form filling process...etc.

Do send cse to your vo nd write your email id has been hacked...
Nd send them your new id but he main issue is that your consultant have your uci,personal details nd fjle no as well
Meanwhile try to sort out yoir issue with yoir consultant for smoothness...

i am new to the forum.
heard it is very helpful n informative.
i have a situation. i have done my medicals and waiting for third line.
but in my application i made a mistake answering Q6(d). i was rejected visitor visa for the U.K. and U.S.A. i asked my agent to update it. after lot of discussion he said we can send a cover letter with medicals n pcc n RPRF stating that we would like to update the form and send the letters of rejection which we got from the U.K. n U.S.A. with medicals n pcc n RPRF.
is it the right thing to send or shall wait till VO ask. as some say should leave it and not send any updation.
need help urgent pls.

It is the right thing to do to send it now.....And you should have done it upfront....Do not leave any chances for the VO to get back claiming that u misrepresented ur info....Bcos that'd cause a lot of delays and hassles...

To set ur mind at ease, there are many ppl on this forum who have made this mistake and updated abt Other countries' Visa Rejection post MR..ppl like Jaxon911, an_mah, etc....Most of them have received their Visas as well..So sending this info would not impact ur application negatively at all....

GUESS WHOS BACK...

Well...Hello to all my friends..

Now that I have started a new life here in Canada, its my duty to keep my friends updated with the new things which I am seeing and facing here.
I landed here on 7 of march 2015 and till now I have spent 2.5 months here in Mississauga, Ontario.
I have already shared the LANDING EXPERIENCE with you guys and I hope that was helpful for you people who are planning for landing.

Right now I am waiting in a Air Canada lounge @ Vancouver, International Airport for my flight back to Toronto. Shortly I will be sharing lots of Good and Bad experiences with you guys and assure you these stories will only make you more hopeful and positive rather than pessimistic.

I am going back to Toronto with a JOB APPOINTMENT LETTER in my own field which I was practising from last 7 years in India. ..YES...YES...YES... in my own field, you read it right... and in just 2.5 months... So, I am going to shift in The Beautiful City Vancouver from 1 june 2015.


Catch you guys soon, as its my boarding time now... Now I will keep on updating you about what I did, how I made it, tricks to survive and lots of other things....

It means you have to land till feb ,16...after landing you will be issued pr card after 4-6 months of landing in canada...

I have a question.

I do not have a job offer from Canada right now. Should however I get one arranged before 'landing', do I still need to carry the minimum amount stipulated by CIC under proof of funds? I'm not sure where but I remember reading that an applicant with a confirmed offer of employment does not need to have that high an amount of funds with him.

Hi All,

Happy to inform you all that my Passport has been stamped with Maple leaf
My passport is stamped and has been given deadline till 09-03-2016, however i am planning to travel in June 15

Need some information on pre and post landing.
I am planning to travel in June mid week and destination is set for Toronto.

Can anyone post me information on below queries.

1: What all docs are required to be carried before landing? ( Passport/COPR and ???????)
2: Travel ticket ( No Trasit visa) I am from hyd, india and destination is Toronto. what are the airlines preferred to travel with PR without any transit visa?
3: Proof of funds. How much money need to carry before travel ( In cash and travel cheque) ( I am single applicant with no dependants)
4: Immigration Checks? Post landing what are queries for us from immigration officer?
5: How about current IT (SAP) job market in Canada? Can we get some hot jobs for survival?

I would appreciate if anyone post any links which are related to my queries.
