Notice – Immigration measures in support of the Government's response to the earthquake in Nepal
Ottawa, April 27, 2015 – Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander announced that, effective immediately, Canada will be prioritizing the processing of immigration applications already in progress on request from those who are significantly and personally affected by the earthquake in Nepal.

Requests from Nepalese citizens temporarily in Canada who need to extend their stay will be assessed in a compassionate and flexible manner.

In support of these measures, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has set up a special email address and a dedicated phone line to respond to requests from applicants and their families.

We are assessing other regions and more information will be provided as the situation evolves.

Overseas (Resident of Nepal)
Existing Immigration Application: If you have an existing application please contact Delhi-immigration @ international.gc.ca with the following information:

“NEPAL EARTHQUAKE” at the beginning of the subject;
How you have been affected by the earthquake in Nepal;
The region that you are in;
Your name (family and given);
Date of birth;
Type of application (student, worker, visitor, Permanent Residence in Canada);
Client ID;
File #; and
Telephone number (optional).
New Immigration Application

If you are applying electronically (visit, study or work only) and are requesting priority processing:

Submit your application online; then
Send an email to Delhi-immigration @ international.gc.ca with the following information:
“NEPAL EARTHQUAKE” at the beginning of the subject;
How you have been affected by the earthquake in Nepal;
The region that you are in;
Your name (family and given);
Date of birth;
Type of application (student worker, visitor, Permanent Residence in Canada);
Client ID;
File #; and
Telephone number (optional).
If you are submitting an application at a Visa Application Centre (visit, study or work only) please advise the client service agent that you are requesting priority processing and include the following information:

How you have been affected by the earthquake in Nepal;
The region that you are in.
In Canada
Existing Immigration Applications: Applicants who have already submitted an application should or contact Situation-Nepal @ cic.gc.ca CIC's Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100.

Please include the following information:

How you have been affected by the earthquake in Nepal;

Your name (family and given);
Date of birth;
Type of application (student, worker, visitor, Permanent Residence in Canada);
Client ID (optional);
File # (optional) and
Telephone number (optional).

Dear seniors,
I received my MR on 15th April.
medicals done on 21st April
Receipt and other docs couriered and received at ndvo on 27 th April.
Hospital uploaded the reports on 25 th April.
So when can I expect my third line update.

You thought where did Mdv go after getting PPR ?? Guys Mdv was also busy submitting passport at VFS office Bangalore which was open today.Looks like stamping will take 15-20 days or it might be even faster

People who got PPR are getting DM in 3 days I guess I saw Avinir,Entrada reporting it today.
