I had applied for my PR on MAY'14 and I got my second line updated by 1st of November...since then I have no updates on the same...waiting for MR...its been 6 months now...can someone please suggest what can be done or waiting is the only option?

Just a little more patience brother.. You'll get there, you're in the final stage already,be thankful. Look at the post just above you. He's a May2014 applicant, no update on MR yet.. Appreciate your blessings and i hope you'll have your PPR within this month. All the best.

What is wrong with Ndvo? No mr since so many days. I mean have they gone nuts or crazy?? More than 135 days since per and almost 60 days since second line. Why are they giving this mental torture to us? When they will start again issuing mr to August applicants for God's sake? Very unprofessional and unethical way of working.

Till date there is no further update on my application.

now i m in difficult situation, i have to enroll my child to 2nd class. We have given some donation to her school which is refundable when she will be leaving the school. As per school rules, if i want to withdraw my child from school i can do so only when her session is over and get the amount refunded along with transfer certificate.

In case if i am withdrawing my child in between session thn i have to pay the full year fees to school to get the transfer certificate.if i am not paying that i will be losing donation amount and transfer certificate both.

Can anyone plz suggest if transfer certificate is mandatory for admission to Canadian schools?

Also there is no update after PER, so do not know how much time it will take for further process. If visa is granted, then what is the minimum time period before which we can travel? (in case i m enrolling her for next class which will get over by April 10, 2016)

My timeline is somewhat similar to yours. Observing the current trend, we have still not got any second line update and it may take more 4-6 months for the visa to be issued to us. Hence, I suggest you enroll your child for the new session. Also the visa is issued for one year from the date of your medicals, so you can travel anytime within this one year period. And, yes, transfer certificate is mandatory for Canada.

Have you received any AOR from any other visa office or is your file with New Delhi visa office?

Friends, can someone please provide inputs on below doubts/queries:
I am planning to visit Canada from USA, for 2-3 days, to complete my landing formality. I have few doubts related to landing process & ll really appreciate if someone can guide on these:
(1) Can we show "US Bank Account statements" as Proof of funds at Canada port of entry? As I will be visiting for only 2-3 days & ll stay at my relatives, is it enuf to carry 500$ Canadian in cash and show the required settlement funds proof using US Bank statements!
(2) Is it required to fill/show: Goods Accompanying List. and Goods to Follow list(Form B4 / B4A) - at Canada port of entry?
