I received PPR abt an hour ago, timeline is on the left. .....thank you all

Can anybody tell me how to book an appointment on the stupid VFS site for passport submission. I cant even find a link to check available dates. And their call centre is already closed.

Just go to VFS in your location and submit your passports from Mon - Fri. Check VFS page for time of operations from http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/india/contact_us.html

Hi friends,

By the grace of God, family and friends, I got my PPR email yesterday. Although, I haven't received the Final line update (Decision made) on ECAS yet.

Thanks to everybody for their support, advice and wishes during this period, Congratulations to all those who have received recent updates in their file and best wishes for all those waiting. Wishing everybody a speedy process ahead. Cheers

Timeline: App rcvd: 3rd October 2014, CC charged 15th December 2014, PER 13th January, photo request 25th February, 2nd line update 10th April, medical 20th May, ppr2 8th June, COPR Today yay ;D

Raise another CSE to NDVO..Mark 'URGENT' in the subject....Attach Documentary proof of ur son's PP submission in UK if possible...

Raise the same CSE to LVO as well since u have already got permission to submit PP in London.....Generally the other country is faster than NDVO in these cases...(remember to provide the complete context)

And also, send the same in a mail to NDVO Id marking urgent...Beyond this u can't do anything else....Just cross ur fingers...

I raised CSE at both VOs New Delhi and London yesterday but I got the reply from London VO today that sorry we can't extend the stamping because NDVO is your mail visa office and they only can extend the same...

There is no reply from NDVO till now.....only wait is the option for me...

That's unfortunate buddy...Looks like u will have to w8 for NDVO only to respond....U have done everything u could, now just cross ur fingers and w8...

Start exploring options on the other side as well, i.e. if there is an option to request UK to expedite ur son's Visa stamping, or is it possible to return the PP for an emergency..Just to be on the safe side, in case NDVO doesn't respond on time....

Note: I would like to suggest those who are waiting for long time to raise a CSE regarding his/her current Visa Office. In my case I found my VO transferred to MANILA from SGVO after raising the CSE. As different visa office works differently, I think this will be very helpful if you know in advance which visa office is processing your file.

which VO sent you PPR? and when did ur RPRF, PCCs and Medical papers were received bt them.
My VO is Warsaw, 15th Dec applicant, TLU, almost a month back but RPRF and PCCs received on 9th of this month, Just wanna estimate PPR date with reference to your case if you too are a warsaw VO applicant.

Hi Sky_01, your case is a bit different since a family members/dependants are generally included in a single application, hence the application has 1 file no. and the primary applicant has 1 UCI. However, let me try to analyse the situation:

1. I believe 4 separate Info update forms should be filled, one for each UCI, considering that each form has one 1 space for a UCI.

2. RPRF payment is based on no. of applications, which is CAD 980 per application. If you've submitted a single application, the fees is ok, because you would have logged in to ECAS through your own UCI. So, the fees is for your own UCI and all the dependants included under its corresponding file no./application.

I may not be 100% accurate and it is best to seek professional opinion (like an agent) or from someone in a similar situation, search this forum completely n try to seek out relevant info. I would suggest the CSE route only if all other options are exhausted and you are unable to resolve this situation within the next couple of days.


I have received a single mail addressed to me requesting
Medical
Rprf (which i paid not through ECAS but by clicking on the hyperlink provided in the mail were i registered with my name and email, selected the number of applicants (two) and paid the fees)
police report
information update form
biopage of passport

Then next day i received 4 mails with a medical related form for each, with different App. No & UCI number for each of the member.

Hi Sky_01, what you've described is the same thing which happened with me. I also clicked the link which took me to a geneal website & I navigated my way to register and pay fees. I also received Meds mail separately, the only difference is that I didn't receive any Info Update form. However, I've just noticed that CIC has allocated separate UCI nos. for each of my dependants, however, file no. is same. So, I believe your case is nothing out of the ordinary. No need to worry, you have paid the correct fees considering 2 minor dependant children. Just include all the documents requested by CIC. I'd recommend filling out separate Update forms since each applicant can be addressed separately, its just like when you would have included separate Background Declaration forms. I believe your query is resolved.

I have one Query , need your sussgetsion... We got our Visa stamped and are planning to land in the month of August in Toronto, My daughters Passport is Valid for 7 months from the date of travel
my queries are
1. Do we require the Return ticket as my daughters passport is about to expire
2. Can we renew the passport once we land in canada or do we need to wait untill we get PR card
3. If can renew in canada , Is there any limitations such as we need to renew prior to particular months of Expiry ( 6 or 3 months prior to expire)
4. any link where we can get all details
