I received the following message from Pretoria VO in response to my CSE.

''Please be advised that your application has been reviewed by an officer and is currently in the queue for correspondence and medical examination instructions to be sent to you.'' I received this email on the 14th of May 2015 and nothing came out until now.
How long should I wait to get MR???

Please share your advice.

I wish I knew more about that to be able to give you an answer. I'm not familiar with the timing of process related to adding additional members. However, if I were in your situation I would call CIC to inquire about it.

I am adding my wife to my application. In this regard i received an email requesting for additional documents of my wife. I have few queries related to few of the document.

1. Police clearance certificates for any country in which your spouse has resided in for 6 months or more since turning 18 (see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/index.asp for more information).
2. The Right of Permanent Residence Fee will need to be paid before a visa can be issued to your spouse (if accompanying you to Canada).
3. If you applied as a Skilled Worker - updated proof of funds for number of family members to now include added spouse.

Below are the queries in have to the above points:
1. An original or a photocopy of police clearance document need to be submitted?
2. I will get an email at later point of time, to go ahead and pay the RPRF fee, correct me if i am worng.
3. Submitting balance certificate, i need to submit an original or copy of it?

Please need your swift response, as i am thinking to courier it tomorrow morning.

then only we can conclude what they really want...
PCC must be in original
Balance certificate should be sent as a xerox copy....

And one more question. Do we need to get an appointment from VFS before we go there, or can we walk-in any day/time. Is there any other document that we need to submit apart from the passport request letter, passports themselves and latest photos ?

I think we can directly visit to VFS but make sure you visit on right timings because they have spesific timings for passport submission and for collection, the following link may help you to know the timings of VFS in India

and passport request letter and two photographs should be suffice... All the best.

First of relax...... u seem to be very stressed, which has impaired ur ability to think clearly. U even forgot that most of the ppl won't remember what u said 2 days ago about ur scenario.

I am not highlighting a mistake, but a need to relax and think clearly.

Having said that, if u r in NewZealand for another 15 days (it seems u r there for at least another 2-3 months) . Try contacting Canadian Embassy in New Zealand.... most probably they will arrange for ur visa to be stamped in NewZealand (yes, visa can be stamped from different VO)........ or VFS http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/NewZealand/ can arrange for ur visa to be be stamped from NDVO.

All the best for ur future endeavors.

P.S: Do bring Pavlova for myself, one ur visa is stamped.

Hey, I do visted the New Zealand VFS but they simple told me that unless New Delhi Visa office don't send any formal communication, they cant accept the passport and do stamping. They asked me to do follow up with New Delhi visa office.I am in tough situation right now. New Delhi visa office is not even bothering to reply. It has been more than 10 days now since I/my consultant is following up with them. ???

Got Passport Request mail at 11:29 AM IST. Timelines on left.
I must admit the wait after DM (Exactly 1 month) was the most painful and stressful in the whole process.

I'm so glad and relieved now. In spite of raising CSE and cover letter while sending RPRF requesting London stamping, NDVO asked me to submit the passport in New Delhi.
I have dropped them an email requesting to submit passport in London Visa Office.

Good News!! Received my PPR today after one month wait from 4th line Update. Now I have requested NDVO via email seeking approval/permission to have my visa stamped in Riyadh. Now 2 qns. 1) Can anyone tell within how many days they will revert back? 2) And from the day I send the passport, how long will it take to get my Passport back with Visa stamped? Pls advise.

Finally submitted my PP to VFS today. Have received my PPR from NDVO yesterday and got ECAS 4th line updated to DM today. It has been quite a journey for me. Waited a record 4 months since the medicals were received. Partly the delay was due to the FBI PCC that I could manage to submit in Apr end (I had applied in Jan 3rd week).

*** Landed Canada Safely ***

By the grace of almighty, reached Canada 6th of June by Turkish air. Currently at windsor,my elder sisters house.

Want to share few of my landing experience here...

Turkish air took about 21 hrs from Dhaka to Toronto which was pretty fine considering the travelling time with only about 2 hrs transit at Istanbul. But it made me pretty tired as seats were very congested (obviously it was economy class). So, it was hard to relax and had a hard time to spent without any intermission and with ugly foods :-[

However, Bangladeshi immigration police was pretty kind to me ( may b they saw my tears as i was leaving my mom behind). They just asked "what's your profession?" and "Please look at this web cam, need to take a photo.". Then i was amazed hearing "Thank you Sir." ya, they called me 'Sir' and i didn't expect so polite behavior from them. Really felt pleased.

In istanbul, there was a security check with no hassle.

After reaching Toronto, had to fill up a form stating my name , how many money(if more than 10000 CAD) do i have etc. Form was checked by an official and then i was sent to immigration officer. Immigration officer took my COPR, checked the passport and asked where im gonna stay ( PR card will be sent there after about 7 weeks, he said). Then he returned the client copy of my COPR and wished me luck.

After taking my luggage , have to cross another interrogation counter. Many had to open their bags in front of those counter to show the officials. But i was not asked to do so. the officer just asked how many money do i have and let me go. Thats all..

So the whole process was pretty smooth.

Everybody please pray for me as now comes the time to battle on the field.

NB: It would be helpful if anyone update my landing date in the spreed sheet.

I am pleased to announce that I received my passport with immigration stamp on wednesday and I completed the landing formality on friday. Since I was in Canada I did flag polling at Niagara falls border. If anyone wants to know about that experience they can send me a separate note.

"Documents proving that the relationship between you and your spouse is genuine. Please submit your wedding photographs, evidence of cohabitation, joint bank accounts and assets and any other document proving the genuineness of your relationship."

Regarding the same I have following queries...

1. Do I need to send all the documents they have mentioned, as I have only wedding Photograph, marriage certificate and my passport where my spouse is added.
2. If not can I open a new joint acc and send the copy of that? Is that valid proof?
3. I have changed my address as well one week back, can I inform them in the same file while sending the documents through courier.

Good morning. We finally received our passports with maple leaf stamping yesterday. But there is a problem with my daughters COPR

My daughters name is written as SUNJEEVANI originally in PP. but during medicals they sent the forms with her name as SANJEEVANI. They wrote A instead of U while sending medicla and RPRF docs i wrote a letter mentioning this mistake requesting them to correct it.. But yesterday to our horror we founf that they missplet her name again in the stamp on the PP and also COPR

What to do now??? Seniors kindly advice please.

If you haven't sent your marriage certificate with the application earlier, no doubt you must send it now. However, there are also other things they requested so you must send them as much as you have handy. Utility bills (water, gas, cable TV, internet, phone...) sent to the same address that both of you live together is good to prove cohabitation. I'm not so sure about joint bank account set up after you received this request will count as in a particular fraud this can be easily done, can't it? As for photo, in addition to your wedding photos, family photos taken together throughout the years may also help. Hope it gives you some thoughts. Don't worry so much, if the marriage is genuine, there are tons of ways to prove. ;D

First of all think why they are in doubt about your marriage.....
Then send them as much proofs as you can...
You can also send family pics, chatting screen shots on WhatsApp/Facebook etc.
And when did you get married ?? means how many years have passed since your marriage??

Report this matter to your local visa office with subject line, VERY VERY URGENT and wait for their reply.
