I have this friend that is planning to have a vacation Feb 2011 and will be returning to Canada end of March 2011. His re-entry visa has already expired and he is planning to have his passport stamped in the Philippines.
1. Will the Canadian embassy in Manila grant him a re-entry visa? (he has only 2 months remaining on his Work permit)
2. Assuming that his re-entry visa was approved, will the immigration officer at the port of entry still gonna accept him to be in Canada? considering that his working permit has only 2 months remaining? Aside from that he has also a supporting letter from his employer.
