Hi All,

I am in a bit of peculiar situation.

I entered Canada in 2012 with my British Overseas Passport (Hong Kong), and all my subsequent permits and PR applications are under that passport. On my PR card it states my nationality as such.

However, that passport is expiring, and to renew it I must hand in the old copy. Processing time varies from 6-8 weeks. I travel frequently for work, and I also hold Argentinian citizenship through my father.

Will I have any trouble coming back into Canada if I presented my PR card with my Argentinian passport?

Alternatively, is their any way to reapply for a PR card with a different nationality?

Thank you!

Hi

Doesn't matter what nationality is stated on the PR card.
