5 years ago i was US green card holder and polish Citizen leaving in US. I drove to Canada to visit friends and got denied due to DUI and driving on suspended license in 2001 :). I never went back after this episode since i got no reason to!!!

Right now I am US citizen and I will be visting Detroit, MI soon. My friends from Detroit go to Windsor Casino and Bars all the time.

My question is if i try to cross the border again as US citizen will i have issues again? I mean this is pretty messed up i traveled the world but stupid Canada out of all the countries says no...

DUI conviction was in 2010 , i have not a single speeding ticket ever since

Thoughts?

What are the chances of crossing, and what they can do if they find my case from 5 years ago?

This is BS. What about if i visit from Australia and have a DUI over there? I am in cause they have no idea!!! So if canada refuses entey of people with DUI it should apply to all countries!!!!

You'd be inadmissible too, it applies to all countries.
Australia & Canada have higher degrees of cooperation because of the commonwealth when compared to other countries, so expect they have a tighter information sharing program for criminality.
